Sit 'n Sleep — Local services in Montclair

The person who assisted us was Javier, and he was GREAT! Very knowledgeable, and out of a million beds on the showroom floor, he showed us 4-5 that would suit our needs best. He determined this by having us answer questions (age range, location of any aches and pains, do we eat or read in bed, etc.) and a computer system called BedMatch calculated how much support is required. With a sanitary cloth we were provided to use on the pillows, we layed on some foam mattresses, some wrapped coil mattresses and a hybrid mattress to test them out. They had a wide variety of brands (Tempurpedic, Purple, Nectar, Avocado, Sealy, Stearns and Foster, Brooklyn, Kingsdown …the list goes on and on). We almost bought the Avocado brand mattress made of all-natural wool and latex, but after laying on our top 2 beds for 3 solid minutes each, we ended up choosing the Cloudtech Stratus Medium Eurotop, and bought the sheet-like encasement as well. The Avocado pillows were really nice, we might go back and get those too. Maybe an adjustable base too, after we decide theres no chance my cat could be harmed. Javier also taught us about hand-tufting vs. glue, and many other tid-bits of information. Sit ‘n Sleep founder Larry: if you’re reading this, Javier said he met you and you’re a nice guy! We say give Javier a raise, he did you proud and impressed us as a patient, no-pressure, model employee. I've been in the market for a new bed for awhile. I saw a commercial yesterday for Sit 'n Sleep and their Memorial Day sale. I decided to try them first this morning and move on if necessary. I went to the Sit 'n Sleep store in Montclair. I was greeted upon entering the store by Rich Pinnix and told him what I was looking for, I had a particular bed in mind. He showed me several types of beds for the brand I wanted(soft, med, firm etc.). I chose one that I was particularly comfortable on after trying the bed in different types of sleep positions. As we proceeded to the sale I asked about another brand in the store. Rich stopped what he was doing, took me over to the other brand and told me to try it. It was hands down a much more comfortable bed than the one I thought I wanted when I entered the store. And I was thrilled that this purchase was less! I ended up buying the bed, a podium and a bed protector. I also met the store manager, Danny Ventura, who was really nice and knowledgeable as well. Larry, if by chance you read this, I would say that you have two very loyal employees who sing your praises. Thanks very much Rich and Danny for a very easy and painless experience. 👍👍My plan was simple: buy myself an affordable, soft, comfortable bed. But what mattress do I choose? confusion anxiety and fear of buying the wrong mattress sets in. Luckily,  Anita,  the  sales representative Had my wife and I answer a few simple questions. Next we lay on a bed,  a computer (that’s plugged up to the bed) would gather information on our body mass,  and favorite sleeping positions. After the scan is complete we would know exactly what mattress/firmness we would need to get a full restful sleep.   Anita then did everything she possibly could to make sure my wife and I were pleased with our  purchase. Within 2 business days we received our bed. two gentlemen put it together within 10 minutes. It's been a week to the day and I'm very very satisfied with our purchase and all the guarantees that came with each individual purchase that we added to the bed. From pillows to Mattress protection.
