This is a great rock climbing gym. Everyone is very friendly there. One of the workers (Julia) patiently helped me to pick out the shoes that I would need when I decided to purchase my own instead of renting. She gave me great advice when it came to the best type of shoe for beginners, chalk, and bag to buy.
There are plenty of problems to climb at this gym. If you're a beginner, you have plenty of safe, fun options when it comes to climbing (VB, V0, V1) There is a small gym with equipment that you can use to warm up before climbing or to just get in a workout ( It has a treadmill, elliptical machine, mats, kettle bells, bosu ball, pull-up bar, etc). The same day I got a call from Kevin (manager) and we talked for a good while. I have to say, as someone who has climbed for two decades all over the world there's a certain helpfulness and compassion I have learned to love about our community and I feel like Kevin projected that.
He problem solved the situation with me and I'm really appreciative of the attention.
As a note, 5 is fine for classes and for one on ones. They have updated their info...

No top rope or lead wall. Fitness room well stocked, campus boards, exchanging finger boards, kilter board, moon board, programs for all levels, private training, public events, couches like you'd expect, and a down home, kid friendly, upper middle class oriented neighborhood franchise climbing gym and that is not a dig in any way. Really loving the place. Afferscool programs for the kids, teens/tweens oriented classes, etc. Excellent and professional...
