GARBAGE service. Bought a ring for my lady and payed extra for "their" resizing and engraving. Go to get it sized and engraved and they tell me it's going to take at least a month, I figure ok. i call them back around the time they say it would be ready and they tell me they have it. no phone call no message. so i go pick it up and it's not engraved. the employee continues to look at it to see if it's engraved with a microscope, I say hey if I can't see it with my bare eyes it's not engraved. come to find out the place they send it to for engravings , their machine broke. They called me according to them. never received a call. they try to have me take it home and wait till they fix their machine I said "no, send it back and let me know when it's done I dont want to make a thousand trips down here." so they say it should be a couple weeks so im irritated at this point but what can I do? so I wait for the call when it's finished. never received one so I call them, they tell me I need to set up a voice mail. I told them "i have a voicemail and I have you my girlfriend's number what's the problem?" "well we have your ring and it's engraved but it's not as clear as it could be, you can come look at it and if you dont like it send it back again." super pissed at this point I say "just send it back and have it taken care of." finally picked it up today and finally received a phone call that it was ready. picked it up and the engraved is so small and almost blurry. I am very displeased and next time I will go through a jewelry engraving company on my own and not pay extra for some crap service that took me almost 3 months to receive my ring. I won't be going back. Just thought I would let...
Read moreI would just like to inform other unknowing buyers of Zales private collection diamond rings. My fiance and I recently purchased a ring here and sent it in to get re-sized. Upon its return, the employee told me that it didn't pass the quality check and had a stone loose. The ring was sent back to get it fixed and then returned a second time. Again, the ring had multiple stones loose, which was then an indication of the defectiveness of the ring we had purchased. The employee said this wasn't common for rings, and I opted for a full refund (obviously). Not only was this issue a problem for MY ring, it was a defect in all rings of that style, the employee informed my fiance over the phone. I'm not sure why they would continue selling expensive jewelry that clearly won't hold up over time and I just want people to be warned when they're going in expecting a high quality ring with underlying, costly flaws. The ring is item # 20307128. It comes with a card proving its authenticity, which is amusing to me seeing that the ring is...
Read moreFound the most perfect ring until every other month I had to get diamonds replaced because they kept falling out. They told me it was my life style, and recommend a new ring. However, I rarely wore my ring due to job restrictions on jewelry. Finally after two years I had to go through corporate to get my money back and return my ring after 12 work tickets. I thought it was all said and done, until my sister had to go and get her ring fixed for the second time after only having for four months, and when she said her sister had the same experience the women sales associate became nasty saying I know exactly who you are talking about. My sister was appalled by this women's tone and look of distaste. I had no quarrel with Zales, just wrapped it up as a defective ring so I am really confused over the animosity. My ring should last a lifetime, right? After my sisters ring and experience I have to say be wary shopping here. I have had great experiences with other Zales locations as well as the corporate office, but this store is...
