Bad Experience!!! I went into the waffle house today on Zelda Road, as I sat down the workers were looking but no one acknowledged that we were sitting there. After about 15 or so min or so, the cook yelled to the back and said aye tell so & so she got a table. So maybe 5-6 min later, she came out, did not greet us & looked as If it was a problem to take our order. She said what can I get u, I said idk because I don't have a menu, after she gave me the menu, she sighed (like uhhhhhh). However, It didn't take that long before she was back to the table with our food but she just put a plate here, a plate there and didn't say anything, didn't ask if I need anything else or not, & just went back to the back. It was a couple other waitresses talking about last night & using profanity as if I wasn't sitting there. One of the guys passed my table and went to the back eating a toasted sandwich. After I was about done eating she walked past and got some of the stuff off the table, by that time I was giving my son some of my hash browns when I noticed a piece of hair in it. I then spit out what I had eaten and was nauseated by that time & mentioned to her that it was some hair in my food, she said huh??, I repeated it & she said umm & kept on doing what she was doing and went on to another order. Needless to say I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT WAFFLE AGAIN.... I WAS SOOOO DISGUSTED... I just got up, went ahead and paid for the food and left..I'm still sick now & vomited before I made...
Read moreUpon arriving at the Waffle House on Zelda Road, my family and I were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Their genuine smiles and enthusiastic "Good morning!" immediately set a positive tone for our visit. As we were shown to our booth, we noticed the upbeat, toe-tapping tunes playing in the background, adding to the lively and welcoming atmosphere.
We settled into our seats, already feeling energized by the music and the staff's infectious cheerfulness. The server quickly came over, introducing herself and asking about our morning so far. Her attentive and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home.
As we browsed the menu, classic hits and some new favorites played softly, creating a perfect backdrop for our conversation. The music, combined with the sizzling sounds from the kitchen, made the entire experience feel vibrant and exciting. Our server checked in frequently, ensuring we had everything we needed and even offering some local tips and recommendations.
The food arrived quickly, and it was everything we hoped for: fluffy waffles, crispy bacon, and perfectly cooked eggs. Each bite was delicious, and the positive energy from the staff and music only enhanced our enjoyment.

Read moreI believe that we had a new waitress, she was very polite, but I believe that she was intimidated by the cook and possibly the head waitress because it looked while after she took our order to place the order with the cook because she had to wait until the cook and head waitress finished having a personal conversation out loud for the whole restaurant to hear before she could place her order for us and for the customers that were seated behind us. One of the customers behind us apparently we're not pleased with something on their plate when served and when asked to have it redone the cook was loud and rude to the customer and the rest of the guests because of the loudness of her. You could tell by the look on the other customers faces that they did not want to be there to see how she was loud talking to the customer. Owner or manager need to look into this situation. I only say this because my mother waitressed for 18 years and raised six children doing so and all six of us were in the restaurant business each 3 years or more so I am speaking with experience of the restaurant and...
