I Usually do not write reviews like this. However, this is the worst pet store I have ever visited and I will never do business with PetSmart ever again. I had recently moved to Montgomery and thought PerSmart was a reputable establishment. About 2 months ago I made a grooming appointment online for my fur baby. I had an event the next morning in which she was expected to attend. About an 1.5 hours prior to my appointment, I received an email that they canceled my appointment. I didn't see the email until I arrived in the parking lot. I called and was told my groomer did not come in until the afternoon and that they did not have enough time to groom her. I asked to speak to a manager and I was connected to the manager on duty, Brittney, who gave me every excuse. She told me that the internet site was inaccurate and it should not have allowed me to make an appointment. I asked that if this was a known issue why hasn't something been done to fix it? She had no answer. I asked her could someone stay late? She replied, they had to have at least 2 people for safety reasons and she could not ask someone to stay late because they couldn't go over their hours. I expressed that I work in retail and I understand that you have forecasted hours, however, customer service should be more important to you. Still I received no solution. Finally I asked her to have the store manager call me and I gave her my contact information. No one called. However, a few days ago, Brittney called me asking if I wanted to make a grooming appointment. I expressed to her what happened the last time I made an appointment and that no one called me. I told her that I will never do business with PetSmart again. She said "Oh" and hung up. I am certain that Brittney lied when she stated she was a manager. I called yesterday morning and the sweet girl I talked to gave me an appointment right away, but, when I was detained and called her back, she said well come on in it shouldn't be a problem. That was about 12:30 and said the next appointment was 3:30. I said that was too late and she said we will work her in. When we arrived they called someone from the back and she seemed bossy and distracted. She said "Mrs. Kelly, you are substantially early for your appointment! It is for 3:00. I said, excuse me? They said bring her and they would work her in. Well, when I went back at 3:30, with no call, the bossy girl from the back was still working on her. I watched and she was doing a good job until pulling hair out of my dogs ear and taking to another employee when I saw my baby jump like it hurt! I went in and asked what time did she start on her and all I got was "If you want an express cut, you can pay and extra $11! Really?! I asked well, if you could take her earlier, why should I have to pay more? No response. I used to get much better service there with a sweet card telling how good my dog was....the time before all the tech could talk about was how my dog farted during her cut! On Monday April 5, 2021 I asked Coral, an cashier, about the grooming services because I have been calling for about a week now and have not gotten any answers about when they can service my dog. She was willing to help but need her manger, Ethan, permission. Ethan came out of his office angry because I was asking about grooming services. He told me to call again even though I have been calling for a week. He exact words were âwell you must be lying because we always answer the phone.â He admitted that the grooming services closed early when âthey donât have anything to do.â Not only did he give me TERRIBLE services but he also said âto go to any other pet store in the area because I, the customer, was not his priority, he had short staff and inventory that he had to do.â Granted I understand everyone is busy during these difficult times but for you to talk to a customer like that after she been in your store two times about grooming and been calling it is unacceptable especially when you are the MANAGER.
