Not sure bait and switch as someone previously stated is correct. In my case I bought a couch and love seat as advertised for $798; when you ask questions about the financing you are told you will get all that in the mail from finance company, "we know nothing about the financing/payments". So you finance the 798; get the contract from finance company in mail a week after delivery and find after payments you will be paying over $2000 for what you thought were getting for a little over the 798 with financing; however, what you've entered into is a "rent to own" contract like going to Aarons or Rent a Center. Of course you've already gotten rid of your old furniture so not much you can do. Also, I am at odds with them now going on 3 weeks; I went in store with pictures of the defective couch I did buy and still paying for (purchased Feb 2016), the wood is exposed on the seat of the couch when sat on with tacks and staples; there is not fabric covering it. I was told an inspector has to come to my house so they can file a claim which was to be last Wed, got a call told the inspector had a death in his family you will have to go on list for next week (which was yesterday). I received no call from anyone, so I called and talked to manager who is in my opinion NOT helpful at all, let alone seem concerned. He said he has not heard from the inspector, so my thoughts were well you should call him to find out what is going on. It is now Thursday, I have received no phone call nor did the manager take the time to call me back yesterday to let me know anything. Again the reps in the store are of no help except to sell you crap to get their commission, need anything more they are worthless including the manager--very POOR customer service. Am I mad, yes indeed because I am paying for furniture that is defective and want it replaced. I had to take pics and send in an email to store manager; then told someone has to come to my house to inspect--a bunch of BULL!!!!! I would not recommend anyone go to Rudy's for anything. I gave them one star only because I had to choose one in order to submit my post, in reality I would have given them NO star. I want my...
Read moreI really enjoyed my experience at Rudy Furniture. The people were friendly, they greeted you once you entered the door, they talked to you about the different sales, layaway, and even if you wanted the options of getting on credit. Working with Renard, I never felt like I was working with a salesman. I was treated with respected even when my boyfriend wasn't around. My questions still got answered. Since I wasvso indecisive, I appreciate that each time I returned, they remembered me and treated me the same until I made that final purchase. Oh, by the way, did I mention I got a good deal for my Living room, den, and dining room furniture. Also, when Rudy Furniture Team delivered my furniture, I wasn't in any inconvenience, they delivered during the scheduled time without any damages and the delivery charge was reasonable. I will be a returning customer because I have more rooms to fill in my home. I have already told my family about Renard and his Team. Go see Rudy Furniture. You won't be...
Read moreThis place is awful, I bought furniture from them paid for a uhaul and when I got home and took the dressers out the box the dressers was not finished being put together. I call Rudy furniture to advise them of what happen and they said bring it back I explained to them I rented a uhaul and that I do not have a truck. I feel like Rudy furniture should have came out and replaced my furniture as a courtesy because it was not my fault that the furniture was not put together all the way, but no I had to turn around and pay $100.00 to have them come out. I emailed the managers and they responded that they are not responsible to bring out furniture free of charge since I did not pay them to come out in the beginning. Not one time did they apologize for my furniture being half way out together. I will never purchase from them again. I suggest no one to...
