Such a bad experience at this location. The female workers were all very sweet and went out of their way to help. Whe. We walked in and were greeted and asked if we need assistance, I told them we had the free cologne voucher and were there to purchase that. They told us were it was and asked if we needed help, which we did not. We picked out 3 cologne and sprayed them (on the paper sticks that they provided) by the cologne. A lady walked over and was again so friendly asking if we needed anything we again said we were all set at the moment (she saw what we were doing and had no problem with it keep in mind ) . Next thing we know a male worker comes over in literally the most condescending attitude I’ve ever experienced asked us what we were doing. I just thought he wanted to help so I said oh we’re just looking at a couple colognes. He said well do you want me to do it for you and I said no we’re all set to which he replied well you can’t touch any of them so. I said oh really I’m sorry we had no idea the girl was just here and didn’t tell us we couldn’t touch the colognes or spray them on the test strips (which again were provided to us), again so condescending says you need to keep your mask on and you can’t touch our colognes. I was literally blown away. Our masks were on. And we had no idea we couldn’t touch them, so this was the 3rd time he told us this. Like we didn’t get it the first time or something. So I said we’re all set actually and he walked away with his head pointed at the sky with such he an attitude, and we left to take our business elsewhere. Read moreThis review is coming a painful 4 months late but I had to finally speak to the integrity of the employees at this Sephora location. The day of my full face makeup appointment, I was heading to CT to see my friend compete for (and later win) Miss America when I crashed and totaled my car. Thank goodness, I was completely fine but I had to call and reschedule my appointment twice along the way to the casino and both times they were super sweet and understanding and moved things around to make sure they had time to see me before the pageant started. Once I arrived and got myself dressed and into the store, they greeted me warmly and set me up with an artist (I believe her name was Laura, please correct me if I’m wrong) right away. I gave the artist full artistic reign because I no nothing about makeup and she worked her magic without overwhelming me. When I was done (with minutes to spare), I went to pay and they said it was on the house because of everything I’d been through. I cannot think of a time where I needed an act of kindness more and the lovely employees at Sephora Mohegan Sun delivered just that. Thank you for your kindness and patience with me. Read moreMy mother and I shopped at Sephora a couple of days ago. We spent close to $300 on beauty products and because I am a beauty insider and have points, I was offered to use my points on sample products. My mother asked if there were any eye cream samples available. The woman at the register said there were none available at the time, but offered to have a salesperson from the front of the store make an eye cream sample. As the salesperson handed my mother the sample, she stated, “You’re lucky we’re even giving you a sample.” I know that it’s most likely no big deal, but I just feel that there’s absolutely no customer service anymore and that was an unnecessary comment. I’ve been to many Sephora stores and the sales staff have gone out of their way to make me samples of foundation as well as other face creams to trial. We spent a good amount of money there and were not trying to get a ton of freebies. I told the salesperson that that wasn’t great customer service to say what she said in that tone. But, she continued to say I just said she’s lucky I’m even doing this. I think some of the staff needs to be trained on customer service.
