I had a terrible experience at this hotel. My toilet kept flushing overnight, so I called maintenance around 9 AM. By 11:30 AM, after not hearing back, I called again, and someone arrived quickly to "fix" the issue. We spoke briefly with the repairman, then left him to do his work.
When we returned to our room, I immediately heard running water. The bathroom is right by the entrance, and I noticed water about to spill into the main area. I called the front desk to report it and offered to shut off the water, but they told me not to.
Unfortunately, I had a luxury bag on the floor containing my dinner clothes and medication, which was now soaked with toilet water. The hotel promptly replaced my bag, which I appreciated, and told me to purchase my medication out of pocket for reimbursement.
However, after submitting my receipt, I received no response for days. Before checking out, I went to the front desk and politely asked what to expect regarding reimbursement. They told me to return later when a different manager was on duty. When I did, I was informed that because they replaced my bag, they would not cover my medication. I was then told to leave and speak with security.
When I met with security, they called the office, where I was falsely accused of threatening staff (while I was literally just sitting, drinking coffee, and speaking calmly). They also claimed that I had stuffed the toilet with objects, causing the flooding—something no one had ever mentioned to me before.
They did not want to see the video of the toilet spraying water from the back, which I later had a plumber review. The plumber confirmed that this type of malfunction does not happen from "jamming" the toilet. Despite this, I was still forced to spend $700 out of pocket on a new EpiPen due to their negligence.
Sadly, I can't post videos here, but I’m happy to share them if needed. This entire process was frustrating, with miscommunication and blame-shifting instead of real customer service. I’ve stayed here many times because of the convenience for gambling, and while customer service has always been mediocre, this was by far the worst experience I've had. It was impossible to relax and enjoy my stay due to the unnecessary stress...
Read moreI give it one star because after a terrible visit that would have warranted maybe a 3, they failed to respond to my comments and frustra6 regarding my visit to the Earth Tower.
I used to go to the casino with my grandparents and used to wheel them around all over with no problem so I was really surprised when I came with my fiance and I have a broken leg and sprained arm the place was not very handicap accessible. In the Earth tower anyways, my room door didn't open on its own, someone had to fix it, then the lights didn't work right and we were told they are wifi and need to be reprogrammed another time, the pool doors are not accessible yet the bathrooms right outside the pool are, odd. And 3' pool? What's that about?
The casino is amazing, love the place, but very disappointed in the hotel. I usually stay in the other tower, this was my first time in the new tower and it is noisy because all the noise outside amplifies in the room 7 stories up. (Fire pit people till 3am, cars, buses, music, etc. ) the walls are way thinner than the other tower, i got to listen to the guy next door snore all night like he was in the other bed. The fridge made noise all night, when I finally fall asleep I hear "hoisekeeping" coming from down the hall over and over again, it was 830am. If the housekeeping button isnt on then theres a good probability people are sleeping.
The linens, cabinets, walls, seems like the same level of detail and quality did not go into this hotel. Focused too much on tech and not enough on comfort. And the in room ipad kept giving an error anyways so what's the point. Its supposed to make things easier it harder, its even the tv remote, light switch, etc.
I barely slept, got home exhausted and needing a nap from my "relaxing" night away. We barely get a chance to do this so I was very...
Read moreCheck in is centrally located. A good distance from where you room will be. There should be a check in area for both towers. Valet attendant was rude. Asked where check on and regular parking was. I was told i could park off to the side, then go inside to check in. I agreed to that, but asked again where the regular parking. The instructions were repeated in a more aggravated tone. I drove off to find the parking myself and figure out where checking was from there. First attempt, key to room, on a lower floor, didn't work. Correcting this almost put me in a higher floor, but that was resolved. In the heat was blasting, thought it might have been broken. Started to work correctly just before technician arrived. After i was settled, began to be a very pleasurable stay. Michael Jordan's Steakhouse...
