I recently joined Healthtrax Moorestown with my family, and I have to say, the entire experience has exceeded my expectations. From the moment we walked in, Judy made us feel completely at home—something I honestly didn’t anticipate when stepping into a new gym. The equipment and amenities are top notch! The atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s a genuine sense of community, which makes a huge difference for me.
Judy took the time to answer all our questions and ensure we felt comfortable. She genuinely made an effort to understand exactly what each of us was looking for. Judy is a positive, energetic force of nature! You can tell that she truly cares about every person who walks through those doors.
The entire team at Healthtrax is outstanding, and it’s clear they're genuinely committed to helping their members succeed. Special shoutout to my trainer, Mike—he’s fantastic! Truthfully, I went into my first session with him with some apprehension due to some prior back issues and it had been a while since I’ve been able to dedicate significant time in the gym. Mike quickly put me at ease, and I left feeling comfortable, encouraged. His approach is supportive, motivating, and personalized, and I can already tell I’m in excellent hands.
My parents have also been raving about their experiences—I never imagined I would see a place have such an positive impact on them, and it’s wonderful seeing them so excited about becoming more active and healthy.
Too often, people only leave reviews when something goes wrong, but I believe great experiences deserve just as much recognition. So here’s mine: if you’re looking for a gym with a welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and an overall positive vibe, I highly recommend Healthtrax Moorestown. Whether you’re just starting out or getting back on track, this is the kind of place that genuinely makes you look forward to...
Read moreThis is the prefect gym for older generations. First, group classes are mostly all before 5 pm. Of course there’s maybe two available after that time but doesn’t offer you a variety to choose from. Last class on Fridays and Saturdays is at 11 or 11:30am and Sunday there are only 2 classes available in the morning- last class at 10am. I don’t find the class schedules to be convenient for those that work a 9-5 job. I also registered for a class and there was only 3 of us in the class and that kinda made me uncomfortable. Something that’s just personal to me.
Secondly, on of the main reasons why I joined was for the steam room and sauna. But unfortunately I got to use it once before it broke. Initially they said it would be fixed within two weeks. It’s been over 2 months and there still isn’t any actual update. They have had the same letter written at the front desk for the last few months but only adding a handwritten update date- I guess so people don’t ask questions.
The classes and sauna was the main reason why I justified spending about $80 a month. After two months of joining I deeply regret signing up. I am basically spending 80 a month to use basic gym equipment that I could have access to at any other gym for more than half the price I pay now.
Only real pro I would say is that the gym is never crowded.
If you do sign up for the yearly contract, please know you can cancel within 30 days. I wish I...
Read moreAquatics facilities are frequently broken with no transparency - for instance, drove out to swim laps, pool was closed with no text or email. Cool, guess I'll just go home.. The sauna/steam rooms were fully out of commission for nearly the entire winter. Both pools, plus the whirlpool, are suspect to break on any given day and be out for a random amount of time. The concept of preventative maintenance or keeping parts on hand or whatever it takes to manage a facility of this size, does not seem to be within their capabilities. (I don't know if there is a connection, but I read this exact same line of complaint about some of their other locations in New England etc). I am only still a member despite the price being higher than other gyms, because we tried some other gyms during some of the stretches where the pools were broken for a month+, and those are gross and have about eight times the people. So, they have that going for them here. Sorry for venting publicly, but it's insanely...
