I usually drive all the way to Salisbury for good Latin food and groceries, but discovering this hidden gem right here in Mooresville has been life-changing. I ordered their consommé soup and a dinner plate with fried pork tips, eggs, beans, avocado, and fried plantains, and let me tell you—it was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious.
When you walk in, you’re warmly greeted by who I assume are the owner and his wife. The owner proudly sports a clean, silver-plated .45 on his hip, giving the place that authentic Mexican neighborhood feel.
Their selection of Latin groceries and authentic imported brands is fantastic. The quality of the hot food served is exceptional, and I also bought meat from their butcher section, which was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and delicious.
