First off STUPID people work here!! I bought a battery with a three year warranty & it had only been a year when it was so dead you you had to let the other car charge it for about 30 minutes to even jump it off!! Then some guy came out with his little machine & said that they couldnât replace it if they couldnât get an accurate reading on the Alternator he had NO IDEA how to operate that diagnostic computer because he kept turning the dial from one place to the other & on one of them I saw it & it was showing 13.2 volts. I told him he had it & tried to show him but he just didnât want to listen because he would have to honor the warranty. Then they wouldnât even jump me off & told me I would have to buy a jumper box & that is VERY POOR customer service, if you even call it that. So, I went inside bought the one they had left & it actually worked!! Well today 05-23-24 my battery from AUTO ZONE finally died after two yearsSo, I charged it from 18:00 on 05-22-24 until I got ready to jump off my car @ 17:00 today 05-23-24 & the jumper box is showing itâs fully charged but it did nothing!!! Not counting the stuff I bought for my rebuild of a 1985 Ford Bronco XLT, which has been in the thousands of dollars I have to throw the $200.00 +/- dollars for a battery & $80.00 +/- for a jumper box just to get out of the parking lot to go to my regular mechanic ( a REAL MECHANIC ) & he informed me that it was NOT THE ALTERNATOR so it had to be the battery!! They said that the battery would work for three years & the jumper box for at least that long!! Bottom line is NOBODY @ that store knows anything about motor vehicles period!!! Oh yeah, went to Auto Zone & got a three year batters afterwards & they just got me a new one with a three year warranty and put it in my car for me!!! I PROMISE THAT I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THOSE MONKEYS POSING AS auto proâs!! What a joke!!! Never setting foot in ANY of their stores again & thatâs that!!
