Be careful. A few years ago my husband and I were updating my wedding ring for our anniversary so we went to Allison’s. She showed me a beautiful diamond to have placed. She took me outside to look at this diamond in the light. Of course this is the diamond I pick along with the band. We get the ring in, I go pick it up and get home and of course this is not the diamond she showed me. The diamond that was placed in my band was lesser quality and a lot more cloudy. I go back to Allison’s and express my concerns she then proceeds to sell me a non cloudy diamond for a much high price. Following my gut I take my ring to another jeweler with all my paper work of what I was suppose to be getting and of course my gut was correct. She had mounted a much lesser quality diamond into my band, then turned around and tried to get even more money from me. She gave me the papers of the diamond I was suppose to get. Also the numbers on the paper and that on the diamond did not match. We found a lawyer in Morgantown who is familiar with these types of situations and got my back and went somewhere else. My brother passed away in 2010 had given me a stainless steel cross necklace before he passed that was his. Two weeks ago it broke after almost 13 years around my neck only coming off for surgery. I was highly upset to say the least money wise it wasn’t worth much being stainless but sentimental value it wasn’t replaceable by any means . Kay’s jewelry was where it was purchased before he passed even found it in the system but said they couldn’t send it away for repair because of the material which I know it’s hard to work with stainless. But someone suggested Allison’s I stopped an checked they was able to repair it an honestly if I didn’t know it was broken two weeks ago even I couldn’t tell it. Allison (the owner and namesake) repaired my girlfriend’s Christmas gift watch after another local shop severely damaged it. Not only was she friendly and fast but she did the repairs for free because she understood the importance of the gift and that we are not people with a lot of extra.

I recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone with jewelry or watch repair needs or looking to purchase that special peace.
