So I went through this morning and ordered a venti caramel macchiato, and I asked them for a separate cup of caramel drizzle. I told them I don’t mind paying for it, no matter what the cost, but that I like the drizzle in literally every drink. I’m not the type to drink coffee every morning. Or every week even. I get coffee maybe once every couple of months and when I do, there’s a certain way I like it. That’s all. I know this isn’t a normal request though, which is why I don’t mind paying the extra. She said no problem. I get to the window where I see no caramel drizzle at all in the drink, and about half inch to an inch, in a little espresso cup. I was then told they aren’t prepared to give me that amount with my order, as the store has no way to ring that in and they don’t have enough supply. So I just paid $7 for a drink that went in the trash because it’s not what I wanted at all. Thanks guys. And I really appreciate the fact that you told me it wasn’t a problem when I ordered, and then decided it was after I was at the window and the drink was made. Great customer service skills. I did just speak with management and they plan on making it right after I get off work. Again, I really hate to even make this a thing because “first world problems”. I tried to avoid this particular Starbucks because their staff is always very rude, but unfortunately, today I had to stop at this location. I made a mobile order and then pulled through the drive-through to pick it up. I placed the order a few minutes before I got in line. I told the Starbucks worker that I had a mobile order and she was very rude to me. She remarked that they had JUST received the order and that I would need to pull back around and wait until it was ready. Mind you, I was the only person there. Had I of ordered there at the drive-through, it would have been the same amount of time for me to receive my drink as it would have been when I did the mobile order. She was very snarky and rude. When I got to the window, she completely ignored me and had her back turned towards me. Read moreThis was one of the most irritating Starbucks experiences I've ever had. I ordered a venti Caramel iced coffee SWEETENED. When I received my drink, I asked if it was sweetened. The employee said he hadn't sweetened it, that he thought the caramel was enough. I told him that I had ordered it with sweetener. So as he is remaking the drink another employee comes over and starts lecturing me like a child about how if I wanted it sweetened I should've said extra sweet. I told her that I HAD ordered the coffee WITH SWEETENER. After being spoken to like a child I was eager to get out and took my "fixed" drink and walked outs when I took a sip, not only did it have no caramel, there was NO SWEETENER. They had given me black coffee, milk, and ice. Ridiculous. In a hospital, people should be courteous, if not more than normal.
