Bluemercury — Local services in Morristown

First of all, parking at the Morristown location is a hassle. The location in Denville is so much easier. The store is just ok in Morristown. The sales people are in no way as friendly, helpful and professional as the Denville location. Morristown location carries Jo Malone which the location in Denville does not, so I have gone to Morristown for that.

The sales staff in Morristown aren't bad, but they aren't as accommodating, and don't seem to be very happy there. The difference in a positive experience is night and day. Also, Denville gives you free makeup bags w/all kinds of awesome samples, I think Morristown is supposed to, but I haven't experienced that, maybe because I don't shop there very often.

The first time I went, the manager, Angela, was very helpful and knowledgeable. I spent $275 and I am very happy with everything. A few days later, I had a question about a product and I stopped in to ask. The employee barely looked at me and seemed very snotty or standoffish as other reviews have mentioned. If it were my first visit I would not have bought anything. A little training on social interactions with customers would go a long way. I have gone into this store a few times. Every time I've been in there, the staff does not acknowledge customers when they walk in the door or when they're looking at merchandise. Two staff in store. One opening boxes and another trying to push this wealthy looking woman into buying expensive conditioner. After 5 minutes of being ignored, I walked out. It's a small store.
