Everyone screws up sometimes, and that's okay. What's not okay is having bad experiences 4 times in a row. Even when I double and triple check when placing the order that the server/hostess hears what I'm asking from them.

First time, got take out, they screwed up my salad. Forgot to add the chicken (which I paid for), and remove the onions.

Second time, dined in. Requested no cheese on the kids hamburger; no onions on my avo salad, add grilled chicken. And so, the kids burger arrives WITH CHEESE, and my salad with onions and fried chicken. The waitress did change the burger quickly, but having a hungry toddler have to wait for 10 minutes after they see their food, which is then taken away from in front of them... not a pretty sight. My onions I was able to pick off the salad, fine, and I settled for fried chicken that day.

Third time, take out. Paid cash since they said the card machine was acting up or something? Good thing I had the cash that day. As I walked out the door, my bag broke. Okay, no big deal, the burgers got a little squished from the fall, but it happens. Got home, 45 min drive. THEN checked everything (big mistake). Ordered a half avo salad, no onions, add chicken. Got a full salad? No chicken. Yes onions. Also, salad was supposed to have tomatoes, which there were none of. Both specialty burgers I ordered were supposed to be cooked medium, yet both were well done... Called the store and they didn't even try to offer a refund for missed items (even though I paid it all in cash, they could have at least said they would refund). Instead, they offered me a free meal next time I went in. I refused their offer, figured as long as management knows about these issues, they'll work on re-training and ensuring better service in the future.

After that experience, I was very hesitant to go back, but nigh 2 months later, in I go to get takeout. It took longer than they told me over the phone. Understandable, place was busy this time. And the plain kid's burger was overcooked and mangled on the outside, pink on the inside. See photo. I ordered it well done, but not destroyed. It tasted dry and bland. The chicken on my salad was dry like leather too. Avocado was tasteless and mushy. Do they use frozen avocado? Hey — at least the chicken was there this time and they FINALLY made sure there were no onions.

This place is incredibly inconsistent with their service and food quality. The first three times, the place wasn't even busy! Anyway, I've had enough, and won't...

TL:DR - Delicious savory and sweet foods, great folks!

We had a larger group of 13 folks, and the maître d Jenny was helpful and accommodating. She made sure we had a table together, and seated us quickly. The restaurant was a little smaller than expected, but it was packed with folks hungry for lunch! We ordered so many different delicious sweet and savory dishes; I'll cover what I got to eat.

The Cookie Dough Pancakes were unique. The generous stack of chocolate chip pancakes were topped with a layer of cookie dough. It was sweet and tasty enough that we did not need any maple syrup. It came with a choice of meat or fruit; we chose sausage links. These were a great, crispy way to offset all the sweetness.

The burgers here are "smash burger" style - meaning you get two thinner patties that are kind of randomly shaped and pushed down. For the patties, you can get beef, turkey, or veggie. Since you get two, I asked for one beef and one turkey, and although they said no one asked for that before, they did it! And wow, my Baked Brie burger was absolutely delicious. Soft brioche bun, fresh melted brie, and crispy bacon on top of those patties - it was perfect. Definitely get a burger here.

We got so many kinds of fries! The "regular" fries are shoestring, and cooked just enough to be crispy on the outside and still soft on the inside. Lightly dusted with salt, these were really a treat. The sweet potato waffle fries were left unsalted, which was nice - and were cooked just enough to be a little crunchy, but not overly so. They were a great addition to the table. The regular waffle fries were pleasantly soft on the inside, and firm around the edges. These tasted like they might have had a little seasoned salt on them, so be aware of that before ordering them. We liked them, but we ate the most of the sweet potato and shoestring ones.

Definitely will be back when I'm in Morristown! There are a lot of other pancakes, french toasts, and burgers we want to...

We had lunch for my 11 year old nephew's birthday. It was busy but we were seated right away and the staff were great. We started with the cookie dough pancakes to share at the table, and they were great. I had the melt of the month, mushroom and bleu cheese with sweet potato waffle fries, my nephew had a burger and regular waffle fries from the kids menu, huge portion, very reasonably priced, and my sister in law wanted to try the special pork roll and had the blanco. It was 3 kinds of cheese plus an egg. I swear it was running down both her arms, LOL. The only thing she said for half an hour was mmmm and she ate the whole thing. The rest of us packed up our remains into boxes and a doggie bag, very friendly, no hassles. Then came dessert. We had seen some people have birthdays so I dropped a hint to the waiter and he came back with one of their mason jar desserts, the Smores, with a candle. We also had the red velvet oreos, which were to die for. I thought my sister in law was going to drink the sauce. She doggie bagged the remains as well, LOL. We were stuffed afterwards. My nephew said, I love it here. Let's come back for Mama's birthday next month. We both laughed at that but it is good to have such a reasonably priced and fun restaurant with such a homey atmosphere pretty close to home. Great for family and friends if you like a fun, informal meal.

Labor Day 2017-We went again with Grandpa this time, and he totally loved it. We had been at the lake all day and were really hungry. I had the veggie burger and he had the Cobb salad-he said it was the best salad he had ever eaten and it was so large he took the other half home. The sweet potato waffle fries are out of this world and the desserts are delicious. This is a great place for the family, with excellent...
