I was a proud proponent of the stores "Grand Opening". A very clean store, a boost for the entire neighborhood and especially Latin Community! Customer service was totally invisible upon my visit yesterday and today! I am now completely concerned as to the store's future. Yesterday evening was "Taco Tuesday" and I ordered the Taco Special to go, I also ordered a Small rice and bean order totaling 7 Dollars. This is not about 7 Dollars or rice and beans. It is about operating principles and customer service. When I got home, I was missing the rice and beans, I went back the following morning to find out if they had seen or found my order from the previous evening. No "Habla ingles"? I was told to pay another 7 dollars. I kindly understood we had a "language problem" and left. I went back this afternoon in hopes to speak to a manager to actually help the situation to avoid this happening in the future to anyone. Again, this was never about a 7-dollar order or rice and beans! It was about helping. Having been in management for over 30 years at a high level and being very familiar with a management team that totally relied on customer service for its survival, I went back to the store to help solve a problem and not be the problem! I was told by an employee in the meat department who was bilingual that my message would get to a manager. Based on my experiences there I doubt this message will get thru to any managers, but I will keep trying but not...

I went to the small cafe style counter to purchase a drink, the staff completely walked past me to assist another customer. I then walked to the grocery counter to purchase from the store instead and was met with the same disrespect and ignorance from the lunch counter. The cashier at register 2 yesterday evening thought is was more appropriate to doom scroll on her phone instead of being attentive and pleasant to the customers. Haz el bien y no...
Read moreHaving been a faithful customer of Talpa Supermarket, with a preference for the Jimmy Carter location, I was shocked by the Morrow store's exceptionally poor customer service. While shopping for vegetables today, specifically seeking fresh scallions, I was met with unacceptable hostility from an older gentleman and the floor manager. Their behavior was uncharacteristic of the Talpa Supermarket standard. I strongly discourage shopping at this Morrow, GA location due to its inadequate, rude obnoxious customer service STAY AWAY, take your money...
