Vinh Pham's review: Haircut is good but does NOT make up for a supportive business model.
Manners maketh man.
Several things that are fixable but lacks the initiative:
Lack of punctuality as a professional. There is 3-5 times, individual has rescheduled, misinformed clientel of appointment, and or is late to confirmed appointment. 1 time, I understand. But, after 3+ times this has occurred, its very irritating.
Lack luster communication and situational awareness courteous towards clientel. If you are late, you should probably communicate that sooner before a client you know drives far and through traffic to secure a haircut. I showed up too early and on time, Vinh was not prepared or ready. Do I show up late every appoimtment then? This has been consistent the last 5x I've booked.
Overbooking. The customer does not need to set 3 hours of their day to secure a 1 hour haircut. They should be able to show up at said time, get their haircut and leave within appointment period.
Although the haircut may be good, does not meet customer service and needs . Any service to a customer, the customer needs should come first. Multiple chances were given hoping that it is a fluke but appears to be habitual.

I had what must have been someone who was training cut my hair and I let him know a #4 on the sides and back and an inch minimum on top. A 1/4 of an inch later and two bald spots on the side of my head later, I had to request the left side of my head get matched up better with the right side. Then I had ask for more off the top, he said he will do another 1/4 of an inch. Now at home, looking at it more, while he did decent on the top, I still see two bald spots on the side of my head that I have no idea why he did that. I also at the start let him know I need to do something with my beard, he never bothered to come back to it. The guy who cut my hair was super nice and friendly, and the barbershop itself was a nice looking shop, but for $40 whether your training or not you should be able to have your customers walk out knowing what they spent was...

I wasn't sure what style I wanted and was basicly clueless, so I trusted him to help me decide. He was very friendly and knew what he was doing.
