Mayberry Country — Local services in Mount Airy

Came here yesterday and had lunch at the attached Hunt's Brother's Pizza. Food was fantastic and lemonade was some of the best I've ever had. I don't think it was homemade but it was perfect. Went next door to pay and the gentleman and wife(?) was very friendly. Shopped for a minute but didn't get anything as we had already gotten a few souvenirs, though we should've gotten them here instead. When we visited Mt. Airy this store was closed. I called them today and Barbara is just the sweetest. I really wanted a item in the window of the store. She told me they had been to market and that’s why they were closed the day I was there. I was able to order the item from them. I hope we get to go back sometime, I would like to meet...

I enjoy shopping here. The owners have been so friendly every time I've come in. They also have a decent selection of Mayberry clothes and are reasonably priced compared to some of the other stores. I only get to visit once a year, but I buy something from...
