They have some BEAUTIFUL Christmas decor! I had planned on purchasing 2 nativites as gifts... one was $229 and the other $167. However, when asked about them the owner was extremely rude in response to my inquiry. I wish this wasn't the case because I did love them but I refuse to make such an expensive purchase at a store where the owner is disrespectful to his customers.

In regards to your response to my original review above... Never did I say I felt as though you didn't have time for me... I have eyes and could cleary see the store was busy.. I had absolutely no problem waiting my turn. However, when it was my turn I feel as though the man who was introduced to me as the owner was sarcastic and rude. I dont feel common kindness and a smile is too much to ask busy store or not. Yet rather than an apology, you continue the insult by a passive aggressive apology accompanied by an attack on my personal character, and placing blame on me, the customer which incase you dont know, isn't good for your business either. I am a small business supporter, especially these days. Furthermore, if you are worried about 'staying open during these hard and difficult times' you may take a lesson in customer service from your employees who were very...

Decided last weekend to take my 10 year old daughter to visit this location, as I'd been there in the past and been impressed with their selection. After driving over an hour to get there, we arrived one full hour before their advertised closing time.

The doors were closed and locked when we arrived. After I pulled on the door, a man inside unlocked and opened the door and stated "We're closed". I informed him that I had just chosen this individual location as my singular destination and driven over an hour to get there for my daughter so she could enjoy what they had to offer. He offered no apology. Just shrugged, and shut the door back in our faces and flipped the deadbolt.

Mind you, we immediately went two doors down to another candy shop that actually operated during their posted hours, where we received excellent service and spent over $200, completing our visit in less than 20 minutes, taking the photo you see attached to this review. I believe the name of their competitor that actually remained open during their posted business hours was called "Opie's". You should check them out. ...

I visited this shop with a friend on our way home from an appointment at Duke. Adorable little shop in and adorable little town. When I got home and was putting my things away, I noticed that the first two charges on my receipt were for food items that I had not purchased. I had not even looked at food in the store. I called the number on the receipt, and the man (I’m almost certain it was the same man who had worked the cash register...his voice sounded the same) said he would take my number and have the owner to call me. After not hearing from them, I called again and the same man answered again. His exact words were, “Oh I’m sorry. The owner hasn’t been in due to unforeseen circumstances.” It has now been two weeks, and I still have not been able to speak to anyone else, nor has anyone else called me. It was never about the amount of money that the two items costed. I’m more than willing to pay for food for someone. But stealing from customers is never acceptable. I live 3 hours away, so I haven’t had a chance to go back by and report...

Really cool place. Unfortunately, their penny machine was out of order when we visited. The candies were really impressive! There's so much to choose from. By far, the dark chocolate sea salt toffee is AMAZING. The lady that sold it to us said we'd be back for more toffee, and she was right! Street parking was nonexistent when we visited, but there's a big public parking lot a block or two away so it's really easy to get to.

This store has the most busy entrance on Main Street. There are lots of spinning things to draw the eye. They have lots of gift items! Too many types to name. They also have a Christmas shop at the back. If you want a Mayberry ornament those are along the right side wall. There are also a lot of coffee mugs, t-shirts and so much more. You can get all kinds of candy too.
