Harbor Freight — Local services in Mount Dora

I bought a pressure washer at my local Harbor Freight in Mount Dora, Florida. I have bought tons of stuff there. When I got home to find it appeared to be a return since there was no packing material or plastic in the box - damn. So just like I feared it didn't work. I went to return it the next day. i was told there was a restock fee unless I bought a more expensive model. I explain that the washer was a returned product and that it did not work. The manager Alex who's picture is below had a terrible attitude and was adamant about a restock fee an a product that was an obvious return and did not work. I asked for a business card and a number for corporate. He said he did not have a business card and the number for corporate was online. He pushed out his name tag which only had his first name while smirking childishly. What an arrogant individual. Needless to say I will talk to another manager and call corporate. I hate giving them 1 star but it won't let you give no stars. Beware of this rip off!!!!! Don't buy anything with a restock fee and make sure you open the box to ensure it's not a returned product and try not to...

Don't bother doing business here! TOM, the store MANAGER, does NOT honor his word!!! I was in store and asked about 3 heavty duty tool carts. I was wanting to buy that evening but was told to come in the next day as the manager was out already. The nice and helpful rep put a sticky note on all 3 with my name and the following date, as I was going the next morning for pick up. I arrived within 15 minutes of the time I was told to come back the next day, and ALL THE ITEMS WERE GONE!! I asked to speak to the manager and he said that they while my name was on a note for pick-up, he was money hungry and greedy and sold it. Sad to see MANY items in the store also had other "reserved customer" names but I'm sure he won't honor those either.... don't bother placing any item on hold if you need a truck to haul....

Hi just went to the Mt.Dora Florida store and was working with Kristin the sales super we were in there to buy a tool chest for my son for Christmas cause he has a lot of tools and needs a place to put them when we got there she said they had a blue one and she was going to get it we waited 30 min before she came and said it was to heavy and she couldn't get it so we were not able to buy my sons Christmas gift they were very very disrespectful and uncareing the manager told us that we can pay for it and pick it up another day and we wanted it for Christmas this is a very unorganized store and will not be going back the manager Rick did not do anything to help us we will not Be going back to...
