Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Mount Dora

Awful pizza. I posted a picture of their "fresh pizza". It's an insult to pizza. Look for the picture with the hand holding what they call a slice of pizza. I pulled this right out of the box, it's basically no crust except the stuffed crust outer section, and barely any toppings, dry, paper thin, REALLY thin, worth maybe half what they sell it for? I'v been to other Pizza Huts, and it's kind of hit and miss on management, quality, but this place gives you paper thin crust, almost no toppings on the stuffed crust It seems like they take the dough for a small pizza now, and stretch it extra far to get the stuffed crust. There's barely any pizza to their pizza anymore, no matter what we order. There's always minimum (to almost none) topping or anything besides the nearly see-through crust. It's a shame, they once had good pizza there, now you don't get your money's worth (or even a tasty pizza!!) We changed to Domino's even though it's 3 miles further. Domino's makes it like Pizza Hut once did long ago when they still tried to please customers. Except Domino's is MUCH better now, they'rt upped their quality and the toppings are generous and fresh. Pineapple and hamhpizza comes with good sweet pineapple instead of the tiny hard sour nuggets you get from Pizza Hut most times and fresh ham. If you don't believe the review, go try a Domino's Pizza yourselfy our then try the Pizza Hut again, you will probably not buy again from Pizza Hut unless you are in a real bind. Sorry Pizza Hut of Mt. Dora, I don't know why you got cheap on us and started making your pizzas so greedily, but you lost my and a lot of other people's business in the act of doing so. Wish you could try harder, I once loved your pizza. My hat's off to Domino's now! This review is for the Pizza Hut by McDonald's at Donnelly and 441...

We ordered on line for carry out Dec 26th 7:45pm. There was a problem with the receipt for my card- which I didn't mind not having a receipt but I needed to sign & tip. The total was 20$ & I totaled it to 23$. Thus leaving a 3$ tip. The cashier was so rude & unprofessional- she tossed the receipt onto my pizza boxes- & I set it back on the counter- otherwise, shed be unable to claim the tip- she picked out up, looked me in the face & put it back on my box. She then told me too have a good night & hadn't given me the rest of my order. I told her what else I had ordered- she didn't say anything, just walked off & started folding boxes. I stayed at the counter trying to understand what was going on when she finally came over with the cheese sticks...& I still had to ask again for the remaining products. Once I got into the car I noticed the cheese bread sticks were cold & no melted cheese at all.... obviously old- so I don't understand why it took so long if they weren't being made. I still left the slip with the tip btw. I didn't return to request a new order of cheese sticks because with her attitude & rudeness- I didn't feel that it would've been resolved. Definitely not in time before my other parts of the order would've become cold themselves, yet- once I got home- I had to reheat pizza for everyone... not only was it cool, but burnt on the crust... by which, the crusts was plain although we ordered flavoring on both pizzas. Terrible experience. The other closer pizza huts are closed- so I'm limited to this particular one... I guess we won't be eating pizza...

Several bad experiences here...tonight was the last straw! Never going back to that lousy Mt. Dora Pizza Hut.... Placed my order online st 7:49....was rang up and order confirmed at 8:16 and was told my order was almost ready so we waited....and waited...and waited...they were busy but this was rediculous! So 45 minutes after I placed my order I asked where my pizza order was....they couldn't find it...then told me it was basically my fault because I ordered online and did not confirm the order before I came in....I pointed to the receipt and told the girl that the order was in the computer right for me to be rang up and for them to take my money so where were my pizzas? She said that I would have to reorder and they would have to make them....almost an hour after I initially ordered! Wth?! I told Miss Attitude I wanted a refund that we would go to McDonalds....She went to get the guy in the back to refund the money and stopped at a large holding locker(?) And brought out my order! It was lukewarm and had been sitting there the whole time!...Omg....I had 4 kids at home waiting for their supper for over an hour because of this Pizzas...
