Chipotle has taken a seriously sharp decline in every area. Second time going to eat there in 2 months and it keeps getting worse. First, let’s start with the parking lot. Upon arriving, there is trash everywhere. Napkins, cups, even a dirty babies diaper as you approach the front door! The trash can was overflowing from what looks like days of not being emptied. Once inside, all of the tables were filthy, old food not wiped up. Napkins and food on the floor and the drink area was disgusting with napkins, utensils strewn about and drink spills everywhere as if not wiped down in days. Then you come to order your food. For the second time, no meat ready, the metal bins were empty and remnants were dried out and crusty inside. mind you this should’ve been the start of dinner time rush and approximately 5 PM. We were told it would be 15 minutes before meat would be ready while our bowls were halfway made and would need to sit while we waited. All of the staff look like high school students, probably no one over the age of 18, and no one looked as if they were managing the team or setting expectations for anyone. There was young man, cooking the meat in front of us with no gloves on, and to my shock, as he walked away from the grill, there was a giant metal pan of tortilla chips, he literally reached his ungloved hand into that metal bin and grabbed a handful of tortilla chips and started eating them as he walked back into the kitchen! Couldn’t believe it! But he did so as if nothing was wrong with that. I could hear several of these kids in the back laughing and chasing each other around, with only one person taking orders at the line was growing. The person in the front would take an order and then run to the cash register eventually not even going back to the cash register to check out and we were all sitting there with our cold food waiting to pay. There were literally about five or six people waiting to pay while the same young man was making bowls without meat and being told that we had to wait for it to be done. This was the second time in two months this has happened. This restaurant has just gotten more dirty, and less managed overtime. Reviews from months and months ago are also stating the same with no change. it was a lack of management in this restaurant. These are children trying to run a restaurant. At one point in time when we waited, two of the young men were in the front of us discussing about what they were gonna do on their break while we waited. Right in front of us with no regard to take care of us. Read moreUNACCEPTABLE!! I just ordered 4 bowls to go. In just 1 of them I got the salsa sauce. However, I got 2 sauces, another salsa and a hot sauce ON THE SIDE as sometimes people serving add TOO MUCH or NOT ENOUGH even if you direct them properly with you order. Anyways, get to the cashier and she tells me I will have to pay EXTRA for one sauce as I got already one sauce. Surprised I tell her that I have 4 bowls. On what she answered yes but I already took one sauce and I can take only one sauce per bowl as per coporate regulations. Which I answered, yes but I have 4 bowls. So let's do the math here: 1 sauce in 1 bowl + 2 sauces on the side = 3 sauces For the ones like this lady with "fake lashes" who do not know how to count up to 4, let me explain. Not only I should Not pay extra for a sauce but if I wanted to I could have requested another one for free as I ORDER 4 FREAKING BOWLS and had only 3 sauces.
It is not for the few cents or whatever it costs for an extra sauce. It is for the principle. Stop hiring dumb people who cannot even count up to 4.
If it was the only thing. I come to Chipotle because I like the quality of the food. Now there are a few things you might want to take a look at.
Note 1: When comes to ordering as a customer, your staff as ORDER to move the line fast or even too fast that they cannot even focus on the customer's order. You put pressure on the people like they DO NOT order in less then 15 seconds, something bad could happen. STOP Freaking pushing people to order SO fast. WE FREAKING PAY TO GET OUR ORDER THE RIGHT WAY AND CORRECTLY.
NOTE 2: Before charging me extra for a sauce that should be free, look at your guacamole OVERPRICED charge. $2.25 for a small side of guacamole when you know that down the road you can find a whole avocado for less than 50 cents. NICE RIP OFF!!!
I am tired of my experiences with this restaurant. When it is not for the reasons I stated above, it is your people rationing the food. Sometimes one spoon, sometimes 1/2 spoon. Very subjective and very arbitrary.
HOW CAN YOU BE SO SUCCESSFUL? Quality maybe. And even that, you had issues a few years ago with the E.coly scandal.

Read moreI never had a good experience at this specific store but this one was my last straw. First off, I think the name was Claudina but she is a manager and she was working the To-go counter and she was overall rude, but what really bothered me was her talking terrible about customers in front of them to other employees, not even a whisper. I understand if the customer was causing an issue but he was just asking for his to go order and she said multiple horrible remarks about him when he walked away. Before that she yelled at my friend because he asked if the chips above the to go counter were available for purchase because the store said they were out of chips. I worked in the food industry before and I understand people have their bad days but this was just straight up disrespectful and disgusting. This person should NOT have a manager position, let alone work in an industry where you have to interact with people. Moving on to the safety and hazards of this store, there was a huge puddle of water, I’d say 8 feet long of water, no wet floor sign, that’s just an injury and lawsuit asking to happen. From what I could see in the back of house, pots and pans on the filthy floor, as I see there’s room on shelves, and counters… but the floor?! The staff with long hair don’t wear hairnets, so their hair just dangle over the food. I’m not asking for free floss with my bowl. The food never seems fully cooked here, especially the rice seems undercooked and the steak is fatty or overcooked every time I eat at this location. The food is always cold no matter if you eat in store or to-go. What really through me through a loop, was a customer who was harassing customers by stating racial remarks, and the workers not kicking her out. She said she was going to call I.C.E. on every colored customer and employee. Other customers even left the store who were waiting in line because of her behavior. She was trying to call the cops on colored people just eating! It’s ridiculous. Especially her flicking off children who are eating, as well as swearing at them while they’re eating.
