I went for a first time appointment with Clarkson eye care because a coworker referred me to them. Well everything went OK for eye exam to get updated contacts. Well I never truly could see out of my left eye at the time they talked to me on what I owed. I complained that the edge of contact is hurting my left eye. I was told I need to give it time to adjust. Well I didn't even get off there street and my left contact fell out gone. I got to work and tried to remove my right eye contact and only half came out. It tore on my eye. Cheap contacts they recommend. Junk. I fished out the piece in my eye and put on my old glasses. I called the next day and explained what happened. I was told to pay my remaining balance and then the will order me another trial set. Then asked if I liked them. No there completely junk. On top of that less then 30 minutes in my eyes on a new prescription will not be enough time to even adjust to new. They even put my stuff on insurance from another job instead of the up to date one I gave them with zero co pay. I was charged $10 copay and $60 for consolidation that I was never given. I did it without any advice or how to from them. But I got charged. I recommend anyone but them.... very bad customer service and no fix. I'm out everything and now have to go somewhere else and do all again. Thanks for...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePosting for my technologically challenged mom :)
She went to her eye exam and ordered her contacts (without her usual insurance so the price was outrageous) so she only purchased a 3 month supply. She asked the doctor if he knew the kind she usually gets and he said āI have my ways.ā (WTH)
Fast forward, she gets her contacts and they are not the brand or color she always gets. Mind you she has been to this place for years. So she calls them to let them know and they say āwell, since you opened them, we cannot exchange or give your money backā.
This would all be fine except it wasnāt her fault that they ordered the wrong contacts. Money is tight and now she has contacts that move around in her eye and she canāt wear. Most optometrists require a CL check after changing a brand or script. They didnāt bother to.
They had a chance to fix their mistake but they didnāt. So if you go here, donāt expect good communication from doctors or staff. Better yet, take your business else where.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreTried this office out since we are new to the area. Receptionist was unemotional when we first went in. My wife was given paperwork for returning patients and I was given paperwork for new patients. We brought this to our attention and the only response we got was, āthatās what the computer said for us to give you.ā Our appointments were early in morning, 9:10 and 9:30. We arrived before 9:00, as directed by them. At 9:30 I went to the desk to say this was a horrible first impression and that I had never waited this long in the 25+years at my previous eye doctorās office. They gave no excuse or showed no empathy. Only after I said I would find another eye doctor, did I get a snarky āOk, have a good dayā from the unemotional receptionist. I cannot speak on how the doctor is at this location, but I can say the front office staff needs a...
