Shop 'n Save — Local services in Mount Pleasant Township

I have bought more expired things here (on accident) than i have ever seen anywhere else. I try to check expiration dates as best as I can but many times ive bought milk, cheese, bread, and meat products that are 2-4 days past expiration still on the shelf. I inform employees every time but seems to not have changed product quality control. I just bought yogurt on March 4, 2024 that expired February 28, 2024. This store is a last resort stop for items when I cannot get to Wal Mart or Aldi. Every time i buy something there, I feel like I am toeing the line with food poisoning. I wish an Aldi would just take its place in the area of Mt.Pleasant...

I really like how they remodeled and I especially like the new self checkouts they put in. I was happy that I actually got there when the deli was open and was able to get some fresh chipped ham and Isley's bbq sauce to make ham BBQ's with some really fresh hamburger buns from there bakery..... overall it was a good experience!!!! I did have one complaint and it was I got some ground meat that was on sale and it was supposed to be good for at least a week or something like that but it went bad within 12 hours for some reason.... They did refund me money though so that was a plus!!!! Thanks...

Pretty rundown got bad wings there the other day could be soo much better.update just got a chance to update my review figured I give them another shot last week stop by seeing they had some pork country ribs and some pork steaks on sale well shame on me for buying them they stunk right out the package they were no good I will not buy anything down there ever again I don't know who's run the meat department but they need to be fired for repackaging...
