We really like the store and The selection. Some of the staff members are friendly. The store is usually clean and welcoming. There are really good deals on the meat department side on a daily basis. The managers specials are really a great value.
They carry a good selection of craft beer and some unique dairy items, and specialty desserts like pistachio muffins with chocolate chips, or specialty cheesecakes.
The reason for the one star rating is because if you walk into the store, even 1 foot into the building, your hair and your skin and all of your clothes will be permeated with the disgusting stench of Old deep fried chicken grease. It will not go away. It will stay on your skin for the rest of your life.
I have met so many people who are very Older now, but who only went into the store one time, and some of them only went in for less than a minute, and after all of these years, after their whole life is pretty much lived, and all of the showers they’ve taken and baths they’ve taken and hand washing’s and sanitizing’s and all of the times they have washed and laundered their clothes… Here they are at the end of their life and they still reek like deep fried old rotten chicken grease from Rick’s grocery stores, deep fryer.
My gosh
Bottle that stuff up and market it and call it hell in a bottle.
Send your enemies here to Shop ….. They will Wreak for the rest of their lives like thousand year old deep-fried rotten chicken grease
If the place didn’t smell, like hell was made of chicken grease I would give...
Read moreI shopped there twice this week . First time the product was already expired BEFORE I bought it. I didn't look at the experation date......didn't think I needed to because the sale had just started. I called them immediately the same day when I started to fix dinner. I took it back with my bill. They allowed me to exchange or get my money back.... I exchanged it. While there I purchased more groceries. One of the things I bought was a package of hamburger buns with a " Best buy " date of 4/10/18 which would be next Tuesday. Got them out today the 7th and they were ALREADY MOLDED!! Called the store to tell them I would never shop there again. It's a 35 mile round trip there and gas is $2.80 a gallon. They won't get another penny of my money. My advice to you if you shop there: Check the experation date on EVERYTHING you buy there. Shop for only what you need that day so it doesn't go bad by that night!! So long Ric's I'll take my money...
Read moreUpdate: i discovered today that Rics also sells tickets at the customer service desk. Just look at the posters behind the front desk. Those will be the show tickets they have for purchase. Twice a year Rics has a meat sale. I prefer to shop at Ric's because they carry some items I like. Such as their store made sandwich spread. They carry coconut and mango ice cream all year. Their muffins are wonderful. The cashiers, stockers and Dept members may seem busy, but if you ask they are more than glad to help you out when you get there attention. They are aware of short people issues and I'm thankful when they help me out. One day my back went out and I wanted 2 cases of water. One of the cashiers helped me in the store and loaded the cases into my van. This is the kind of service a small store can give. A smile and thank you goes along way. They do not have motorized carts. There are inside and outside benches to wait for public...
