AVOID this company at all costs!
This company seemed like a decent conpany from someone coming from another couontry looking to find a solution just right for their needs. In fact it was great to start out. But unfortunately the deal was too good to be true. We had asked for a monthly sevice where we could have Cromcast and pay month to month for unlimited Intrnet, we were not interested in regular TV because we don't watch it, and Infinity was just the company we were looking for. In fact the whole time we had there service we could never complain. Until......................................... we had to move. Of coures I contacted them right away asking if we could keep their service, because we were happy with it, and just move it to our new home. They unfortunately informed us that did not provide service where we were going, and that we would have to stop service. We were a little sad about this because as I've already mentioned they had just what we were looking for and we were happy with them. Ok, so at this point we were told where to take back the decoder and that we were paid up in full so our business with them was done. No problems thus far. We took back the decoder right away and that was that.
So you can imagine my surprise when I get a bill from them about a month later saying we owe them 101 dollars! What? For what? So of course I call them to find out where their mistake was and they try to tell me that we owe them for early termination fee, excuse me! We didn't even want to terminate, so how is it they can turn around and say we owe them money for a service not even rendered? WRONG! They don't even offer service where we live but illegally think they can charge us for something they can't even offer. I obviously told them I had NO intentions on paying them for something I never used or got so that it that. However, I had to move to a new apartment last week due to flooding and have had a terrible experience. When I called to move the service, I decided to add cable (with the sports package) to my plan. I have not had cable recently as I didnāt think it was worth the money, but this agent kept telling me how I could get NFL games and RedZone for an additional $18 per month (bringing my total bill to $126). He told me by signing up for a year contract they could offer extra savings to keep the bill in my price range. The links he sent me could not be opened so I accepted the contract over the phone via recorded message.
Well, as expected, this was too good to be true. I received my bill today and it is for $277.78. When I called to discuss this with customer service they told me they canāt access the recordings of calls (how convenient).
At the end of the day I am being charged $151 more than expected PER MONTH, had to pay a $100 install fee which I was told at least 5 times would be waived, have not received the $300 gift card I was promised for switching to this plan, and waisted about 4 hours in total on the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started with 12 month introductory rate $20 and use my own modem and was happy for 12 months. And Xfinity put me on $50 plan after 12 months and my Internet became unreliable. It was unreliable with the slow $20 right but with the upgrade I thought it would be better. A technician came out and said I had water in the cable lines and replaced the cables. The Internet was still not that great so the tech told me I should rent Xfinity modem and that might help. Two months later my Internet goes out every hour on the hour. I have a high school student trying to take her classes virtually. Today a tech told me my modem was out of date which I received two months ago and I should send back at a UPS store and go by Xfinity retail store and pick up a new modem. I picked up a new modem and the Internet kept dropping out. I made another appointment at the retail store and went in and they upped sold me to a higher plan with a different modem to see if that would work. Well it didnāt work and I still donāt have Internet. I saw AT&T today on my street and asked if we were getting fiber and he said yes I cannot switch to AT&T fiber fast enough!
