CONSUMER BEWARE. We tried to return our bed after 100 days and it did not go as pleasantly as the salesman and the corporate marketing around their stores make it seem. When we told the salesman that we wanted to return our bed, he immediately ask who we worked with for the purchase. When he figured out that the salesman had left the company, his demeanor completely changed. He now had to deal with us on a return and knew that we were not gonna be happy with what he told us. The salesman then told us that we should go to another store and look at the mattresses up there because they have different models than they have at this store. We drove to the other store and explained to the saleswoman that we were sent from the previous store and that we wanted to look at their different models. She told us that they have all the same mattresses, except one which the salesman at the other store knew was a mattress we were not looking for. When we told the saleswoman at the second store that we were looking to return the mattress and that our original salesman had left the company, she went back to her computer and offered zero help to save the sale. We knew something was up at that point but not exactly the whole story. I went back the next day to the original store to find a different saleswoman laying on a bed watching her phone. She apologized and said the job is very boring. When I told her the situation, she said, I would need to work with the original person that sold me the bed. When I told her that the person no longer worked there she said “Well, I guess I’ll have to help you.” In a very condescending and unapologetic tone. CANNOT RETURN ADJUSTABLE BASE: What nothing in the store or the original salesman disclaimed was that if you are unsatisfied with the bed, you cannot return the frame. In our case, we did not find the value that we thought we would find in having an adjustable bed after three months of use and wanted to go back to a traditional flat bed. The saleswoman looked me dead in the eye and said “It’s all over the paperwork. Its at the top of the invoice, It’s in the fine print. There’s no way you can return the base. We hear this all the time.” She said she was not part of the original transaction and did not know what transpired when we purchased the bed. So I asked her do you tell consumers that you are selling a bed to that the base is not returnable when you sell a bed? And she refused to answer the question. This is just a way for them to get you to buy a different mattress and keep the money in the store. They also send you all the documents to sign electronically probably in hopes that you won’t read the print on your phone and move on at that point they know that they have you locked into a purchase at their store. RESTOCKING FEES: They also charge you a restocking fee for the mattress and pick up fee. What they do not tell you is that if you opt for two adjustable mattresses in the king version, they charge you two restocking fees. It was $400 to return our mattresses. $400!
CULTURE: I’ve been in commission based sales my entire life and either this company or this local branch has a culture of “if it’s not my sale, I don’t care” instead of “these people are spending their money with my company and I want them to have a good experience.”
None of this was disclaimed to us when we purchased the bed and if it had been, we would have been very thoughtful about our purchase.

Read moreI had a great experience at this Mattress Firm. I had never bought a mattress before and was pretty anxious about making a decision of this magnitude. Joel was a huge help. He greeted me when I walked in and made sure that I was taken care of. Asked me my budget and showed me 2-3 mattresses that might suit me based on my needs. I tried them out and asked a ton of questions. Joel was happy to answer all of my questions. I tried mattress and asked questions for about an hour, and Joel was very patient and balanced being hands-on/hands-off very well. I ended up purchasing one of the mattress he recommended to me. He made sure to tell me about Mattress Firms 120-trial period and warranty information which was very helpful. Joel helped me make a decision on what I believe will be a great mattress for me. I am very indecisive and this was a relatively painless process for me. Thanks, Joel! I recommend at least going to Mattress Firm and seeing what Joel can offer you when its time for you to...
Read moreAfter going through two different mattresses that we ended up hating, we were starting to feel like we’d never find the right fit. Then we met David. From the moment we walked in, he was extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in helping us, not just making a sale.
David’s knowledge was impressive. He patiently explained the differences between each mattress, what might work best for our specific needs, and answered every question we had with total confidence. You could tell he has a deep understanding of the products and truly wants his customers to be happy with their choice.
What really stood out was the fact that he stayed after hours just to make sure we found the perfect mattress. That kind of dedication is rare, and we truly appreciate the extra time and care he gave us.
Thanks to David, we finally found a mattress we absolutely love. If you’re shopping here, do yourself a favor and ask for David. He goes above and beyond...
