Come Back Shack — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

Listen!!!! I have one of these less than 3 miles from my house and never went, tonight I FINALLY visited one, but over 15 miles away instead and I am surprisingly SUPER IMPRESSED!!! After leaving Hugh Babys, I wanted a different spin on a milkshake and I googled milkshakes near me and Come Back Shack came up! They had more than 2 flavors def a plus for the kids! I went to the website and ironically they had 1/2 priced Milkshakes on Thursdays lol today was Thursday!! Thank you Milkshake God!! We got there ordered the shakes and the kids immediately said, “Omg this is better than Chic Fil A, I had a Oreo one from their earlier and this is way better!” And the Whip cream was a nice added touch, thanks Bobby for suggesting. Second kid said, “this is AMAZING!! Mommy give me yours(I got peanut butter) ok I’ll take this too! 🤣 Then I was like let me just see what their food is like since I drove all this way, Bobby was not annoyed at all that I ordered again after walking away, he was more than pleasant! And even chatted with me a bit while still working his orders! CHICKEN TENDERS WERE ON POINT!! Hot! Fresh! Juicy! Breaded just right!!! I Got the meal and the drink choices were goooood I got the Hibiscus-refreshing! Kids got in the car and called Nana and said “We went to two restaurants and we got milkshakes and chicken tenders and it was better than Chic Fil A!” 😄😄 lol ok long winded but I was IMPRESSED and super pleased!!! Thanks Bobby for the best first time experience! Well definitely be Coming Back to the Shack!!

Honestly i worked here and it is a very trashy environment very drama-full and i quit here and when i did they decided to drop my pay for hours i already worked to minimum wage and when i asked why they tried to say i signed something and when i asked to see the hand book i signed they gave me two number that did not work. And i ask my manger for the copy of what i “signed” and he told me to talk to Hr and i did and she just sent one piece of paper with my name type in and never sent the whole hand book that says that they can drop my money for hours i already worked to minimum wage. While I worked there, I was treated VERY unfairly. I was even told by the District Manager, Phil, that I was “toxic and negative” just because I didnt show up to work smiling every single day. I was even told that part of the company’s “culture” is positivity so they would “segregate all negative energy”I came to both the GM and the DM to express my frustration with my unfair treatment and they wouldn’t even listen to what I had to say and instead told me I was “playing victim” Keeping in mind, I am a teenager so of course it’s only natural that I’m not exactly in a chipper mood every single day. Regardless of my countenance, I still came and worked very hard everyday and was still disrespected by not only other workers but managers as well. So today I went through the drive through in ordered a veggie sandwich. The order board out front says it's $5.85. But when I pulled up to the window, they wanted to charge me over $7.85. When I told them that's not what is on the board, they argued with me. Then she came back and said it was tax. When I said there's not $2 tax on a $5 sandwich, the person working the window went and got a more senior person who came back and told me they've raised prices. I said, that's quite a raise.And if they're going to raise the price, they need to change it on the sign. She said, I agree with you, but she still wanted me to pay $7.85 for the sandwich. when I told her I wasn't going to pay that she said, let me go get the assistant manager. The assistant manager looked puzzled and said.What do you want me to do?And I said, I want you to charge me five dollars and eighty five cents like your sign says. He said, do you want me to go out and look at the sign? I said no, because I don't want to buy your food now. This is a drive through, and i've been through three people at the window, and still no one will do the right thing. I used to like this place, but I am now gone for good.
