I ordered a pizza for delivery around noon on a Wednesday. Delivered in a pretty reasonable amount of time for it being lunch time (about 45 mins). Have been a loyal customer of Papa John's for a long time, albeit having just moved here from Montana. This was my first time ordering from this location, in Mt Pleasant, SC. Ate a few pieces when it arrived, they were good. Fast forward to the evening when I went to reheat said pizza for dinner; heated up 2 pieces, took a few bites from one when all of a sudden I crunch down on something unusually hard. Pull it out of my mouth and it's a chewed off, human fingernail!!!! Call the store and speak to the manager who actually sounds legitimately sympathetic and embarrassed. He offered to send me another pizza for free. No thanks, I said; please speak to your employees about hygiene and about how disGUSTING this is. He still insisted that the next time I called to order, that same pizza would be made for free. Which I do appreciate however, not sure I'll be ordering from here again. Like to give people the benefit of the doubt but, come on...
Read moreI have never had such an ordeal trying to order a pie. Saw the NY pizza add diced to order, grabbed my phone. Decided to download the app. Had the pie plus toppings in the cart received total plus fees. Went back in to add a second pie figured if I was paying a 5$ fee I would make it worthwhile.
The app kicked out my order and told me delivery was not available.
I tried to call apparently got a hold of a call center who could not take my order. They transferred me to the local store. After a few some one picked up the line and simply hung up on me.
I called the store a little farther up in MtP apparently received the same call center and was told I could not order delivery. I explained I had never had such a time ordering a pie and how I was just hung up on. They transferred me to that store while on hold a crazy computer guy voice tried to have a conversation about crust with me….. enough… I hung up and called a local shop. I knew better not even sure why I had the lapse...
Read moreI have ordered from this location previously on multiple occasions and have never had any issues. I called in to the call center on July 28 at 11:03 PM and placed a $30 order including a tip for the driver. Was told by the service rep that I would receive my order in 20-30 minutes. Hadn't received anything by then and called in at 11:47 to talk to the store directly. The workers deliberately would pick up the phone and hang up. I kept calling in several times and they would pick up and hang up... this all happened before 12:00 which was when they were scheduled to close. I called in to speak with the service rep and complained and they said that they could not refund me. This is incredibly shocking and inexcusable. Here it is now nearly 12:30 am and still no one has showed up...
