Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

HORRIBLE! I was excited to see such high reviews and the variety of flavors. I went in with the intention to order a two-tiered cake of two flavors for a party. I wanted to try the flavors (it was between 3) to see which two I'd order. I had to either pay $3.99 plus tax for each flavor to try - forced to buy a mini cake to try just a bite. OR I could still PURCHASE a dozen (yeah...12!) mini bundt cakes of 6 flavors. They had one sample flavor out and that was the ONLY flavor they'd allow to be be sampled. Astoundingly horrible customer service! I'd be okay paying $1 for each flavor to try (maybe two small bites given)...but almost $15 to try 3 flavors ON TOP of still ordering a $65 cake?!? ABSOLUTELY NOT! We went to 'Cupcakes Down South' over in Belle Hall and they were WAY more customer oriented and willing to help with flavor choices. I definitely do NOT recommend this business. Don't commit to a cake...go with a fun LARGE cupcake and other flavors that can be mixed...way more fun for a party! Obviously this business's mindset of how to treat a customer is...

My experience regarding customer service was very distasteful. I do not know if management changed hands, but I have been visiting this store for many years and the level of customer service is not up to par in my opinion. I received no greeting, no smile, and no pleasantries. I left empty handed and I will never return. Extraordinary customer service should be shown to everyone from the time the door opens until it closes. If someone is going to exhibit a sour face, fundamentally speaking, customer service may not be the field for one or more associates in this store. If I received this treatment once, I could provide more grace. However, I have received this treatment more than once from more than one associate. However, no worries because I refuse to reward negative energy and if I cannot be appreciated, surely I can purchase a mouth full of sugar...

I could not be more grateful. Representative khadjah, who was extremely friendly and personable, came into the place I work at with a batch of cupcakes for the employees… complimentary! I mentioned to her that it was my wife’s birthday, and she inquired about her favorite flavor cake and color, then told me she’d have something ready by the afternoon. INSANE! I was so excited! I came to the store later on in the afternoon and she had a perfect vanilla cake made, beautifully decorated and personalized.
