Rude manager, rude employee! A black short male deliberately hit my husband in the back of his ankle with a cart when my husband was on one of the aisles. My husband asked why was he rushing, and why didn't he say sorry or excuse himself, the guy was just extremely rude along with the manager when asked to speak to her about his actions, said nothing. 1st time there . . . Probably the last! Reaching out to corporate.

I've gone to Ollie's since I was a child and it's a great place to find useful items at a cheaper rate. You can find some great stuff like car mats for way less than other places or even ACs that work great at a lower cost. If you need some kitchen appliances they have a good variety as well.

Love Ollie's... I can usually find bath products super cheap... now that I have a 1yr old... there's so much more I get here, including books for him! Both of these were just $1.99 and my area doesn't do a free book program so its helpful because he loves to read!

Update June 29, 2025: This location no longer offers public bathrooms! I mean even before they were always gross and icky and seemingly never cleaned, but at least if there was a personal needs emergency it was something - better than soiled clothing. So basically don't come here and expect there to be a bathroom to use because there isn't. If you have a personal needs emergency you are pretty much screwed! Ollie's, Good Stuff Cheap!!

This location is absolutely awful! I bought a Bissell Little Green Pro Heat and after getting it home determined that the product would not adequately suit my needs. I only opened the box and looked at the product - it was totally unused. I decided that I would return the unit and select another product instead. I was going to the store to return it and it happened to be extremely windy that day and the receipt blew out of my car. I said to myself "I hope I'm not screwed returning this", but turns out I absolutely was! After collecting all my information, including my phone number which the product was purchased under, the cashier had the co-manager come to the POS just to tell me "Sorry, we can only issue you a store credit" even though I explained my dilemma. When I asked if they could look up my receipt under my card number I could not tell if she was absolutely refusing because the manager didn't feel like it, or if they just were unable to. I ended up leaving with a product that I don't even need, and a bitter distaste for this retail outlet. Vote with your money, don't shop there! Honestly, their prices are not any lower than any other discount chain, and the store always looks like a "flea market" and is just so distastefully cluttered and messy. Zero stars from this now...

Today I had a bad experience shopping at Ollie's on 5th street in Muhlenberg. They were selling bedding that was packaged up in a box that only had a sticker with a picture of the design of the bedspread. I CAREFULLY removed the tape from the box to peek in at the bedding to see of the color and pattern matched the sticker. I was approached by a dark haired, buggy eyed employee who said, "Can I help you"? I said' "No Thankyou, I am only trying to see the actual color of the bedspread". She mumbled something, rolled her eyes and then went and gossiped about it to the cashier. The cashier, a tall, light haired guy with glasses was also then very rude to me. He made a comment about taping the box back up that I had opened! Now, I could have just bought the bedspread, took it home, possibly not liked it, then returned it. So what's the difference? I usually don't do this but the color and pattern was of importance to me. Is this any different than trying on a pair of shoes from a show store and deciding you don't like or they don't fit and putting them back? I wanted people opinions on this. I did end up buying the bedspread. I feel like opening it all up out of the packaged so they can't actually resell it, then returning it to the same worker that checked me out. Just to prove a point. Don't treat regular customers poorly and...

I made a purchase and bought more than I needed. When I returned the product at the store I was 2nd in line another register line went empty so I went over and put the return on the counter the attendant walked away after turning her back and then looked to me and told me her lane was closed. When I turned 6 people where in the line I was in, you know ollies. A Spanish speaking man was 2nd in line the woman who just told me her lane was closed walked up to the man and in Spanish told him to get in her line it was open. That racist thing only made me a little angry, but I know everyone acts out what they always accuse others of. After waiting for my spot in line to get to the register, the other Spanish speaking lady called another associate over and accused me of switching price tags and steeling some of my return. A 3rd Spanish speaking associate went and got a new off the shelf match to the product I was returning. What a shock after measuring the product they found I stole nothing.....hmmmmmm. Also after checking the price they found I hadn't switched the tags.... closed I don't speak Spanish or act like the racist they accuse me of....... don't go back to Ollie's at reading...
