Food is good but service is super lousy. The fish tacos are great but when asked why they come with one tortilla instead of two as shown in the big graphic display they answered 'that's how they are made. If you want a 2nd tortilla it is 4 for a dollar.' In a sarcastic tone. The California burrito was good but was smaller than I expected as compared to other similar burritos.
I was totally disappointed with their costumer service skills over the four times we have been there. The cashiers were not friendly, welcoming or patient if you had a question about the menu. When asked for a serving of the spiciest salsa they were quick to answer it was already in the bag. Which it was not. The last time finally asked them if they were sure, and looked at me like I had cursed them out. I was very pleasant with my tone when I asked, so I had to ask a 2nd time and emphasize I wanted the spiciest salsa and not the regular. They acted like they misunderstood me and gave me only one serving of it.
The other Bufadora staff in both Riverside locations and Perris are way friendlier and have excellent customer service skills that make you appreciate it compared to the Murrieta location. Not asking to be treated like royalty but just basic...
Read moreThe Al Pastor here is garbage, hot wet 10 day old garbage. I got an Al Pastor (Adobado) burrito, expecting it to taste like any other in that class this burrito. Upon first getting it, it was under whelming upon seeing it. My first bite into it was all pineapple and like a whiff of meat not a taste but a whiff of meat. So i wasn't impressed but carried on through to another bite this time their was meat but with a heavy, and i mean overwhelming taste of pineapple no other flavors no achiote, no other seasonings other then pineapple. Like i understand pineapple is part of making Al Pastor (adobado) but it's not the main ingredient. They need to look deep into themselves here and 1. Stop selling this poor excuse for Al Pastor and 2. Start from scratch with a new recipe maybe visit Tacos El Gordo and ask them for their recipe on Al Pastor.
No with all that out of the way i haven't tried anything else I may try again but most likely not, as everything at this place is sold ala carte. They don't have any combos and you have to buy sides ala carte. Sufficient to say i will visit other spots in Temecula/Murrieta but not this one even if it was my...
Read moreCame for the fish tacos everyone talks about. Presentation was great, but they aren't too great. We also orders some carne asada fries and the fries were cold. I went in to tell the cooks and she looked at me like I was lying, I told her go ahead and taste them they aren't cooked all the way they were still frozen. I was waiting for my food to be remade and another customer came up and asked if her food was ready in English. The cook totally ignored her and started talking to the other cook in spanish saying "que no ven que estoy ocupada?" ("Can't she tell im busy") and the lady told her in Spanish I just wanted to kbow how much longer for my food. One things Is to assume a person doesn't understand Spanish and start saying stuff in Spanish thinking the person doesn't understand. Overall I give the food a 2 and customer service a 1. I will not be going back to this place. Hopefully your visit is better than mine. They cater to spanish speaking people more than English speaking. Very disappointing, it should be...
