Save A Lot — Local services in Muskegon Charter Township

Possibly the worst place to shop in Muskegon, spend your money elsewhere. Rude staff, shelf’s are a mess and stains on the floors and walls.

I haven’t been to save-a-lot since I was a child and thought it would be a fun trip going down the isles I couldn’t go down and get the snacks my mom wouldn’t let me when I was young. Upon checkout the lady that was checking me out asked me “box or bag” I hesitated for a second as I didn’t know what to say and she said “you took too long” and started to place the items in the cart that was next to her. Upon leaving I assumed I could just take the cart as the items I paid for where in it but she quickly grabbed the cart. She didn’t even explain why I couldn’t use the cart she just rudely said “you didn’t bring a cart up here”. I just was shocked and didn’t even say a thing. My girlfriend said “Okay?” And she rudely said “OKAY” back and made some rude remark.

TLDR: would rather give my money to a major name store like Walmart instead of one of the smaller names...

I moved to the area over a year ago and I just realized how close Save A Lot was to my house, Today I biked there and was pleased to see a bike rack I could lock my bike to! I used to bike to the E&A down the road when I needed to grab a couple things and would worry about my bike while I was In the store since there was no-where to lock it to. Besides being biker friendly I couldn’t believe the sheer selection that was available for a small chain store!
