Topshelf Pizza & Pub — Restaurant in Muskegon Charter Township

I had not been here in a very long time, I thought it would be nice to not go to a chain pizza place that could actually deliver to me that day. I wanted to place an order and was directed to place online(Slice). I did that, I ordered a house deluxe pizza and some pepper jack cheese cubes. When I arrived the restaurant was not clean pizza box’s were thrown all over and everything was in disarray. Not one employee even had anything in that said TopShelf? I was told to wait so I did. I have lung problems so when my order was ready I took it to my car and went home. When I opened the pizza I see it wasn’t what I ordered. I ordered the House Deluxe add bacon and onions, my pizza only had bacon and onions in it. I wasn’t pleased but thought I must have done something wrong. So today I went back to the app and looked band I did not do anything wrong. So I decided to call Top Shelf and see what could be done. I was given the manager, she told me to bad I didn’t call the same day because she will do nothing for me today. I let her know I would be giving a bad review. My husband and I order from Topshelf often, twice a month at least. I am a pizza-aholic and theirs is some of the best I've had; not THE best, mind you, but DEFINITELY in the top 5 I've had anywhere in the country. I've had their subs a few times but their pizza is so good, I usually can't bring myself to order anything else.

My husband, who doesn't like pizza nearly as much as I do, often gets their chicken tenders and fries. The fries are coated and usually taste like they've been fried in old oil, but he doesn't eat a lot of fries so he doesn't mind. He says the chicken tenders are not anything special but are a little above average.

My husband's tastes have changed. He has come to love their pizza, too, but only when topped with bacon, double pepperoni and VERY light sauce; whereas I like pepperoni, kalamata olives, double cheese and light sauce. I change the combinations of those toppings now and then, but never do I add anything additional. I don't know what cheese blend they use (I wish I did), but ithe cheese is my favorite part... it is SOOOOOO GOOD!

You really must try their pizza. If you're a pizza lover, as I am, you are bound to fall in love with Too...

My husband and I love to order out from here. The food is always delicious. I gave three stars because the last two times we ordered our service was awful from one specific worker. Last order they were very busy and we were told it'd be "over and hour" not a problem, I get being busy. Unsure how long exactly "over an hour" was we got to the store 5 minutes after an hour. Our food was done but had been done for at least 15 minutes, if not longer. It was not hot at all and the lady that checked me out was very rude. We ordered again tonight and was told 30 minutes. I got there and paid at the 30 minute mark, same girl checked me out. She was on her phone the entire time and I noticed numerous eye rolls when customers came in or the phone rang. I was not alerted to how much longer my food would be. I wanted 20 minutes past the time given before I got my food and watched 3 others get their food who came in after. I noticed the lady whom was rude put an order on the back table then left to do a delivery. 5-8 minutes later someone checked that order and it was mine. Very disappointed in the service lately from her. I understand being busy and short staffed but good communication...
