Very easy to work with and we found a great couch for great price. Excited for delivery!

Update: Dropped to a 3 star due to communication failures. We had to call three times to get updates and then the second call we were given a delivery date and told we would get a text.

We never received any texts/calls besides one text on 11/11/24 saying we would get a call later that week which we did not, so my husband called sat 11/16, was given a delivery date of 11/20. When I called for an update this morning after replying to the original text on 11/11/24, they advised us we were texted through an automated system and called and a message left but because no response they cancelled our delivery . Nothing came through either of our phones besides the first text on 11/11/24. We are disappointed with the lack of communication and we were then told that one of the pieces had arrived damaged and now may not be able to have it delivered until 11/27/24.

My husband is now working with Brett there and we are hoping for a better outcome, but will update this review once we have...

I purchased furniture from Great Lakes Furniture at the end of Nov.

There has been one issuex after another.

The sales person offered to use my husband's credit without him being there - this should have been red flag enough for ne to cancel...

After being told one delivery time frame to secure my sale (they knew I was in a rush) I got a call stating it would be longer.

I didn't get my furniture until the first week of January.

The day after it was delivered 2 chairs (one on each could) broke.

It took over 3 weeks to get a service person here for 5 minutes to tell me it likely broke because of how it was put in the truck to deliver.

It is now the beginning of April -- FOUR months after purchase and I still have 2 of 5 spots that can't be used -- with no idea when the parts will come.

The customer service through all of this has been HORRIBLE and after multiple asks, the owner has still not contacted me.

This store has an no return policy which I did not realize until it was too late.

I highly recommend Great Lakes Furnishings to anyone who is looking for quality furniture at amazing prices!! They really do offer the lowest prices around. I stopped into the Ashley Furniture Outlet in GR after seeing the living room set @ GLF and they wanted like $250 more in the outlet! No way, I rushed back to Great Lakes and put my order in the next day!

Theresa is an awesome sales woman. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and available...definitely NOT your typical pushy "follow-you-around-the-store" sales vultures one may tend to find in some stores.

If you're in the market for new furniture and DON'T want to spend a fortune, do yourself a favor; Go to Great Lakes Furnishings & ask for Theresa. You will NOT be disappointed.
