Want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT FOR NICOLE’S CLOSIT!!! To the wonderful kind ladies that were sooo kind to my niece that has CP and has a large walker to try to get around. Now for the story. I picked her up. She needed clothes real bad. Her favorite restaurant to eat is FREDDIES. We went there to eat and the people were sooo kind. Then went to Maurice’s!!! Soooo rude. We came in. I parked her near the door entrance but out of the way. I went to a worker. I am thinking she was a manager but not sure. I went to ask if they had sizes 16 reg in girls. For it has been a very long time since I had shopped there. The lady stated that they only went up to size 14. Then look a m from a distance and stated. She looks like my daughter size try 00 or 0 and WALKED AWAY. No help. I didn’t even know where the 00 or 0 were at. I mean no help. I told her there was another place that I wanted to look at but didn’t know if they had her size nor what time they closed for it was a Saturday Dec 3rd. So I pulled in. I stated I just wanted to run in to see if they had her size. When I walked in. I saw the closed at 3:30. It was around 2:45. I asked if they had her size. The two young ladies were soooo kind. I stated what had happened at the other store. We talked for awhile. W them mentioning several jr sizes that might work. They were busy. But kind. I stated we would come back another day when they weren’t so busy for they only have one dressing room. Went back to car. Told m we would come back another day and that the ladies were nice there. I could tell she was down. Then I thought. Well it won’t hurt for her to go in and look. So we got her big walker out. Everyone was very nice. The customers and the two ladies. Soon she found several things that she wanted to try on. I stated I didn’t want to take up there main dressing room. They replied. We have a bathroom that we use as a dressing room for overflow. I stated that great. Well after looking at the pathway to the restroom it was too small for her walker. I stated. Thanks. We will just come back when not so busy. She stated nope. U can use the main room. And everyone else can use the overflow bathroom to try on. I asked r u sure!? They stated absolutely. Well in she went. Tried on 00, 0, 1 in pants but due to her pump they all were too tight. Then I remembered her stating they had a few 16 back in the corner by the shoes. So they did they had two pairs that had never been worn stickers were still on the pants. So I had m to try a pair on. Oh my goodness they fit her to a T!!!! So I got both pairs. And found 3 tops she liked. This girl has very little to wear. So I saw the sad face turn into a happy face. Watching how the help and customers were soooo kind to us as m was trying things on. So in return I hung all pants and tops back to the rack. The help stated u don’t have to do that. I stated u take care of ur other customers it’s at least what I can do to help u out due to u closing at 3:30. Long story short. We bought 2 pairs of pants (after I got home I google where I could find the brand that fit her so well - JC penny carry’s them thereabouts reg superflex skinny size 16) and 3 tops. The help had no clothes to place in the racks from m for I did that. We paid got m in the car. Looked up and the ladies locked the doors and walked out at 3:33 I can not say enough GREAT things about NICOLE’S CLOSIT!!! Driving m back to her house she was grinning ear to ear. Aunt Debbie they were sooo nice and kind to me. They really wanted me there. I didn’t feel like I was in the way!!! U have to know m. To know her is to love her. The sweetest person ever!! THANK YOU NICOLE’S CLOSIT!!! U placed a smile on m face. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I hope all of u will checks this business out!!!! Just writing this post made me cry. ⭐️ Shopping Experience: 5 stars ⭐️ Consigning Experience: 0 stars

I truly love shopping at Nicole’s Closet and will continue to. The store has great finds and is always fun to browse.

However, my consigning experience was disappointing. I’ve consigned at several places and made hundreds (Nothing to Wear), even close to a thousand dollars (Rhea Lanas most recent event). At Nicole’s Closet, I brought in many quality name-brand items (North Face, Sperry, Michael Kors, etc.).

I’d lost my consignor card, and the owner seemed to know my number from memory — which I thought was impressive at the time. Later, after a long wait and a lot of back and forth, I was told my total earnings were $38. That didn’t seem right, but I let it go.

Recently, I found my old consignor card and realized all of my items had been logged under someone else’s account — the number was just one digit off. So, someone else was paid for everything I brought in. It was an unfortunate mistake that cost me quite a bit.

Lesson learned: always have your consignor ID, and if you don’t, make sure they look you up before accepting your items. Memory failed me big time & someone else got all of my profits.

I will continue to shop there but I'll never consign there from...

Owner was rude, lost her temper, raising her voice at me, ranting and raving as she checked me out. She said she was PMS- ing, so I let it go and let her vent until she continued to be hostile. She began slamming things around and getting more aggressive, accusing me of ruining her day when I asked if she was okay.
