I went in to get a part for my washing machine and the part number that I got from whirlpool was incorrect. I took the part back and Christina told me she would exchange it (and magically the new part was the exact same price as the first part) when she brought the part out to give to me it was in an old beat up box with all kinds of things scratched off and the part was clearly used and rusted. I said I didn’t want an old rusted part for the same price as a new one. She told me she would order a new one in. I was hesitant because I was on a time constraint. I asked her about a new lid latch as well she never called back about that part. The part took longer (only by a dayish) than expected but I’m that time I had to order a new washer since I would not be able to have the part installed. I had a family member take the old rusted part that she insisted I tried back to the store and ask for a refund since I had to buy a new washer. She said she wasn’t the person who could decide that and that I should try and sell the part on the Internet. I now have the brand new part that she ordered still sealed in a factory box that they will not return. Furthermore, when you go you are basically forced into paying cash. Ive called once a week to try and talk to Christina to see if she ever talked to whoever is in charge of refunds and she has not returned any of my calls. In the past I’ve used Dew’s and D&L without any issue, but in a bind I used PCW and got ripped off. I ended up paying $72 for a $25 part. Save yourself the time, energy, and money...
Read morePcw used to have a very good reputation for customer service. Not anymore. We had them come out in March because our ice makers (we have two refrigerators) had stopped working. We were charged a diagnostic fee on each refrigerator even though we knew what was wrong. The technician they sent out is very very nice and said he felt bad about having to charge two separate fees and that he only worked on Tuesdays I believe. He said they would probably be a wait on the parts which we understand because of the supply chain. I did not call them back until over a month later because I figured surely by then they would have the parts LOL. I have called them several times over the last several months and every time the woman that answers the phone that said she will call us right back when she finds out the status of her order. She has never called us back not even once. My wife and I went down there a couple of weeks ago in person to ask her about it and she said it would take her about 20 minutes to go in the back and look up our order and then she would call us back. She never did. I guess my next step is to go back down there and try and get...
Read moreWorst service. I’d give zero star if I could. I would never recommend this place. I paid a total of $440 to have my washing machine fixed over the course of weeks. (Mind you I haven't been able to do laundry for a couple months now bc of these people) Fast fwd, when they couldn’t fix it they said they would give me a credit towards a new mashing machine.
Went into the store yesterday, NONE of their appliances have price tags on them. They do this so they can up the price to an insane price and charge whatever they want. Acting like they were giving me a credit but I would still be paying full price, plus a delivery fee through a third party (who knows what that cost). When I asked to speak to Sam’s boss her response “they don’t talk to people”. When I asked if they had a business card her response was “no”. Extremely unprofessional and worse experience I’ve ever encountered. Go to Home Depot or Lows, delivery is free also!
If you decide to buy from here make sure to look up the serial number of the appliance to make sure you not getting ripped off!
So un-ethical what they tried...
