Brookshire Bros on South Street has really upped their Game!! I love going here now And the Burger Basket from the deli is BOMB!!!! Those folks got the chicken in the front on point and that one young man who started working there a couple months ago is sincerely doing a Bang Up Job!!! Popped in to grab some lunch meat that was on sale and as usual I found more meat sakes and ran into a package if James smoked sausage I couldn't resist. Even though inflation has upped the price it's still a good bargain. While looking at the sale add again I noticed community coffee on sale but one get one free and shrimp on sale as well. Store is pretty unorganized, a lil dirty, & pricey outside of sale items. It was difficult to fill my list without zipping up and down every single aisle. Shelves weren't fronted (and this was my third visit to notice this in the mid a.m.) and the pharmacy area was still a wreck! Their deli area though.. it's still aces in my book as far as small towns go! It's worth popping in there for a quick breakfast when it's freshly made, their cooks are quiet...
