Belk — Local services in Nacogdoches

I drove over an hour to return an item because Nacogdoches belk was the closest one to me. I will not return to this store. Rockwall belk is amazing compared to this one. No associate greeted me, the store is a wreck and dirty, plus size is in the far back corner with no variety and looks like they all forgot about that section. I tried to return an item without a receipt but it was charged on my belk card within 30 days so she could look it up and put it back on the card. She tried to tell me 5 times that she could do the lowest price right now. I finally got through to her and she actually looked it up on my card and put it back on. I've had some unpleasant experiences with Belk, I bought a jacket only to discover it was damaged by the time I got home. It was discounted (not because of the damage) and I went to exchange it at another Belk but had unfortunately run into a manager that was on a power trip and refused to apply the original discount to the replacement jacket and wanted me to pay more for that. I said whatever I don't have time to argue with this guy and called the store in another town afterwards to talk to a manager there. They were appalled by his behaviour and had me come in with the receipt to apply the discount and give me the difference. They made up for it, but the management issues are...

Their store is not really organized, so you can't maneuver through the items with the cart. The biggest problem I encountered this visit was the customer service. Usually that's not a concern, but this time the employees that were at the cashier counter were so rude to me. They continued talking amongst themselves about how crappy their managers attitude was, and had their backs to me while the guy was cashing me out- but talking to them instead of ensuring good quality customer care.
