I love this store- staff are absolutely helpful, and stock is gorgeous! My one disappointment is that the hours are inconsistent. I have been turned away by a small sign on the door listing “special hours” more often than I’ve actually been inside. It is now clear that I will no longer try to drop in assuming their regular hours will be in effect. I will have to check every time. It’s also impossible to tell if the store is open without parking and approaching the door because of the lighting. Perhaps if it could be made obvious that the store is open (like with lighted signs, open doors, or a sandwich sign indicated they are open outside the door), it would be more obvious. I have gathered up my heavy machine to bring in for service twice now and found the doors locked or the service department closed. If there were other local options, they would have lost...

I called ahead and asked if I could bring an old quilt in for anyone with some experience to tell me something about it. The person said I could come but when I got there, the owner of the store, came right up to me, red faced and snapped "I won't look at your quilt". She didn't even say hello. She proclaimed that she didn't know anything about the textiles and is not qualified to make any comments on it. I really felt embarrassed. I'm so excited to have a new BERNINA dealer closer to me, and I have to say the owner here is incredibly kind and helpful.

When I had an issue doing embroidery on my machine she very patiently stayed online chatting with me and walking me through what the issue might be and how to fix it. We were chatting for probably an hour!

She was not only able to help fix the issue without me having to bring the machine in, but checked in a week later to make sure it was still going ok.

The staff here really knows their stuff and are just generally really wonderful to work with.
