Let's start with some of our favorites: lechon belly, kare kare, lumpia, bbq sticks, chicken inasal, halo halo. We HIGHLY recommend you go in and order ahead, check out all of these. We've had these repeatedly, including on Thanksgiving, and everyone loves it.

Tita Tess, Miguel, and the whole team at Bistro Manila are amazing people with just as amazing service and cooking. WEDDINGS: We did our research. There really is no other Filipino restaurant in the Chicagoland area that can handle a wedding as perfectly as Tita Tess, Miguel and the Bistro Manila team did. Before working with Bistro Manila we called everyone......almost everyone either outright rejected it, we had to try to pry to see if they'd work on a wedding, or would get responses like "We can supply the food but you'll have to come and pick it up."

Not Tita Tess, Miguel and the whole Bistro Manila team. From the start they showed us what they had done for previous weddings, worked with us every step of the way via email, text, and in person for a whole year leading up to our wedding to curate our menu, and even catered to our unique guest challenges with allergies.

Finally, the big day came, Bistro Manila absolutely shined during the wedding. Tita Tess and her team came themselves to not only ensure delivery was perfect, but to work with our separate on site vendor of service staff to ensure they understood what food went with what sauce, what should be served in what order, and overall logistics of how food should be served and laid out (very important for folks not familiar with Filipino food!!)

And let me tell you.....our guests have not stopped talking about the food. We've had no less than 20 people after the wedding ask us "what that beef dish was" (kare kare) and how amazing it was. During the happy hour? People rushed the hors d'oeuvres being served and swiped any lumpia and bbq stick possible. Tita, Miguel, and the whole Bistro Manila's presentation of our deserts were so cute and delicious! They cutely and uniquely packaged cassava cakes and ube deserts that were demolished by the end of the night.

WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR MORE DELICIOUS FOOD AND PERFECT VENDORS FOR OUR WEDDING. The Bistro Manila team absolutely blew us away with their attentiveness and delicious offerings. If you're looking for someone to handle your big event, or for just delicious food for your family gathering (or just yourself for a treat!) go to Bistro Manila. Order ahead over the phone, or check out their ready made food there. You will not regret it. Thank you Tita, Miguel, and the whole Bistro Manila team. You made our day...

Bistro Manila is a family-owned turo-turo spot for traditional and fusion Filipino food. They also have some ala carte options if you want to call and order ahead. This restaurant replaced my previous go-to Mesa Manila. Miguel and Ate Tess still man the place and they are always friendly and most accommodating. They have only been open a couple of weeks and the menu has been different everyday so I can't comment on consistency but I do have my favorites - patatim, pancit luglug, beef teriyaki, pork picadillo and leche flan. I would not say the dishes taste homemade. They are rather of restaurant quality, with carefully prepared fresh ingredients and distinct flavors. They also have pastries and rice cakes that are worth a try.... P.S. They usually have halo-halo, you just...

Needing to bring an appetizer to a Halloween party in Aurora, I stumbled upon this place after making several calls to similar Filipino restaurants. What drew me to this specific one was that I was told that these lumpia shanghai was hand rolled / made in-house; not from frozen packs, which was the norm. I was also told it was a bit longer than the frozen versions.

After all that, the proof is in the taste. And it was excellent!! It was also still hot and was ready at the time promised. From what I saw from the owner was a small quaint resto which was very clean and modern, unlikes what I grew up with.

If I am ever back in this area, I will need to dine-in and try their other options on the menu, but for this order, it was more than I had expected. Excellent...

I recommend the pork Tocino, the lumpia shanghai, the fried rice, and the chicken Inasal. They have a revolving menu so it's always changing. Miguel served my wife and I food here. We were looking for specifically a Filipino food cater and this came across our search. We tried out their food and we loved it, big portion! Very flavorful, great hospitality, the family owned business has really great cooks and service too, all well mannered. We met them in the process of choosing which foods to cater. Miguel is very polite and professional with his email's both in person and setting up for catering. I highly recommend this place for a good local filipino cuisine crave, along with if you need Filipino catering!

A wonderful, homey, and cozy place to have a Filipino meal whenever you're just wandering and hungry in Naperville. FYI: Food selection changes everyday and mostly stays the same during the weekend, so you have a chance to try a variety of foods. Highly suggest trying their tocino. They make their own recipe for it, and omg, it's so tender and flavorful! Thank goodness I saved some leftovers for later. I also suggest trying their lechon sisig and menudo. The young man and his mother who served and greeted us were extremely friendly and helpful. They really make you feel like you're having a comforting meal at home. Will definitely be back! I gotta grab more of that dessert. 👍👍
