Took a group of kids to Chuck e Cheese over the weekend. We had a horrible experience overall. I do understand it was a busy evening there, and most of the staff was trying to handle as much as they could with an influx of people. I had purchased a Gold Fun Pass over groupon. When I got there it took about half an hour and 4 employees for them to figure out how to use it. No complaints on my end, we stood there smiling patiently as they went from employee to employee to sort it out. We we were very understanding and tried to help them as best as we could while we waited. After that whole debacle was sorted, I ordered 2 rounds of food. First round was fine, no issue, we had ordered the large sampler platter and some extra stuff. It wasn't enough food for our group, so I went and ordered a second round including another large sampler platter. As the kids were eating and got to the middle of the wings part of the second platter, we found a HAIR wrapped around one of the wings. I immediately told them not to touch the platter anymore, while I went to talk to their team. One of their Managers, Jerry, who we spoke with was rude and dismissive. He said he saw the kids eating from the platter so it didn't deserve to be refunded. I told them obviously the kids ate from the platter before we noted the hair, but the minute we saw the hair no one touched that platter. They had previous food they were still finishing up on their plates. He was almost smirking like this whole thing was hilarious. He was rude, abrasive, and honestly a total jerk. They ended up giving me $10 in cash back for the platter (valued at $30). The only other option was to remake it, but it was taking about 30-45 mins per order because they were so busy and the kids were exhausted so it didn't make sense to do that option. To me, its not even about the missing refund amount. I literally spent more than $200 that evening on their establishment - so a little courtesy and kindness for their gross kitchen protocols would be appreciated. I would never have even posted this review if they corrected their mistake and apologized. Not once did one person say sorry, they made it seem like it was our fault they had hair in their food. (Pictures for proof). Are people going to quit going to Chuck e Cheese because of this? No, obviously. But it would be nice for them to do some re-training on customer service especially for those who are "in charge" over there.

If I could give this dump one star I would. I decided it would be a nice getaway trip for my kids. So of course when I arrived my kids were obviously very excited. Not that I minded they were excited, it was nice to see them so happy for a place they love. But the second I walked in we were greeted by a rude employee. I didn’t catch their name, but it wasn’t very nice to be crudely ignored by a teenager. They told me to keep my kids calm and basically told them to not be excited even though they are little kiddos ready to play some arcade games like any other kid would be. I ignored this action of the employee and decided to go on with my day. It got worse when I ordered pizza for my kids and when the pizza arrived, it came with a bug! What kind of establishment is this? The pricing and games don’t bug me but the fact I found an INSECT in my kids’ pizza is outrageous. I called a manager over to my table to ask what the heck is wrong with this place and I was spit on and called many nasty names. I will never be returning. DONT COME HERE!

My 6 year old daughter's first time at a school mate's birthday party and her first time at Chuck E. Cheese. She was pretty overwhelmed with all the noises and lights(but she has a history of being kind of sensitive to lights and loud noises, and of course I forgot her headphones)but she liked most of the games and the rides as well. She had a good time! The person who's in charge of telling you how many tickets you've won and how many are left after purchasing stuff at the counter was SUPER helpful and really nice! I didn't catch his name but he had short braids and was really young(I'm so sorry I didn't get your name!). The rest of the staff I could tell was really helpful as well.

Okay. I waited about an hour after I left because I was pretty upset. Will now l not be going back to this one. There is another chuck e cheese that is better than this one. For context, my visit was with my daughter and her 2 children.

First, apon entering, there was no greeter to stamp us at the entrance(I always appreciated this), so we waited. The manager 'Mike' couldn't be bothered to get up out of his seat at a booth to talk to us. He just waved for us to come in.

Second, there was only one cashier for the long line of customers(8 by my count). Mike, the manager, couldn't be bothered he left and his in the back. I didn't bother getting in line for food. Instead, I just charged the card to play games.

Third, they had a trampoline area that had 8 pads to jump on, but the area was locked up. You had to get service from up front and was told I had to pay $15 per person(10 for admission and 5 for socks), I could have paid that at a trampoline park. Three problem is every time the kids leave, they would walk off and lock out up. If you're going to charge that much for admission, there should be an attendant there.

Forth major point, the prices are insane. 3.99 for a 12-oz drink. I can get a large one at any fast food place for lots less. The value meals are a joke. For example the #1 large pizza with 4 drinks $36, but if you buy 4 drinks($12) and a large pizza($22) you pay$34 so where is the savings your actually getting ripped off.

The staff there had one speed slow. Getting them to do anything was like pulling teeth. That manager was lazy, lazy, lazy, and he spent so much effort trying to avoid work it just blows my mind.

The good news is it's not all Chuck e cheese...

Chuck E. Cheese in Naperville my goodness i just left there with my sister and i was so disappointed wow they bring your food to the table than just leave it there to get cold if i didn’t check in to makes sure we probably wouldn’t even had eat that pizza. I used to work at Chuck E. Cheese years back and i remember every time we would deliver somebody pizza we would make an announcement that your food is on the table, than the workers there my God, i think nowadays they just hire anybody which is so sad. The have this little play place where i understand that you have to buy the socks 15 dollars every time you come even though had some that i bought last time i was there worker there had told how my son can’t be in there because the socks he had on wasn’t new i was like wow the really trying to make money. Trust me i will never come back here. I feel like all the workers there needs more training and have more patience with kids the was a lady there and her husband the daughter i believe was autistic so she was all over the floor screaming one of the workers there was laughing i was so unhappy i couldn’t believe it, they picked her up left i was...
