If you need large sizes you'll probably be in luck, but if you're tall there won't be much here for you.
Staff here was great, had a nice chat with the floor manager who showed me around. The prices are high but if you're a big and tall person, you're used to that and know that it's worth the extra cost to have clothes that fit.
I came in looking for dress socks and they had a decent amount of choice. Also picked up some undershirts because they had a deal when I visited for 33% off three or more items so I threw those in with my socks. Also found a really cool extra long tie, which I'm happy to have found. I'm happy with the quality of everything I purchased.
My one issue is that the in-store selection is vastly geared towards more "big" and less "tall" while I am the opposite. Once I'm in the realm of "view a wider selection of sizes online" it's a little problematic. If I'm shopping online anyway, I have a more stores to choose from and my likelihood of shopping DXL online goes down pretty significantly versus being one of the few physical stores that actually stocks...
Read moreTypically when I shop for clothes, I'm lucky to find anything in my size. Then if I do, it's the only option in the whole place and outrageously overpriced. I think every fat person can attest to that experience. Clothes shopping almost always strips my dignity and leaves me in tears.
DXL was the complete opposite experience! Walking into the store, everything was clean and spacious and I felt welcome right away. The woman working there was super helpful and had a fantastic personality, and even made me feel cute when I checked out the hats by the counter.
Both my father and I, the big people we are, were super impressed with the service and selection and have added DXL to our "places to go for clothes that fit." Forget shopping online in shame or scouring supermarkets and leaving empty-handed, the next time I need a work shirt or a new pair of pants, I'm going right back to DXL. They made me feel like a person, and I can't wait to do business with them...
Read moreIf it wasnt for the gentleman who helped me towards the end I would really been that customer to call corporate.
I went in to buy my husband some clothes for an event. The lady their seemed to want to help but as I moved to look at another item she went MIA. The gentlemen (new guy) helped me take down the item I was looking for. The manager was talking to another employee over the phone as loud as she could. The gentlemen was ringing me up and she had to punch it in. She was very inpatient with him and how he was clicking through the settings, her tone with him was not of a good manager.
Fyi: while the manager was yelling over the phone to her emoplyee that she needs to select right codes to ring up, the items that I bought had a handwritten tag with the wrong price and size, so I had to go exchage the item, I went to...
