Epic Audio Video — Local services in Naples

I strongly recommend against Epic Audio. The sales person estimated my installation at $1000 based on a time and material basis. When they were done, they said it was over $2000 for the installation based on a rate of $220 per hour (two people at $110 per hour each). While it did take 2 people to install the TV (75 inch), it should not have taken two people almost 10 hours together. When I complained that the estimate was double and that I was not provide the double hourly rate, the answer I got from the installers was that the sales person was let go because of mis-estimating jobs and that they would have the owner contact me. He never did. Here is my take: they will price the equipment at a competitive rate with Best Buy/Magnolia and make an inequitable final price with an outrageous $220 per hour install rate. It is rare nowadays to find a contractor that hits its target in every way at the highest levels. Our experience with Epic could not have been better and they really exceeded out expectations. Joel Seiden was with us from beginning to end and really made a big difference. He is uber professional, very knowledgeable and a great listener who understood what we wanted and let us know - without pressure - what we should consider. He was creative and kept an eye on costs while persuading us why spending a little more would provide outsized benefits.

The installation team was also top drawer. They were professional, courteous, unobtrusive and patient with us in the set up, demo and tutorial phases.

We could not be happier with our experience, feel like we got a great value and recommend Epic...

We recently had an 85" Sony television installed in our Great Room, along with a Theory Sound Bar, sub woofer and two outside lanai Paradigm Stylus 470 speakers. We worked with Mark Goldman, whose professionalism throughout the entire process was exceptional. He answered all our questions and relieved any anxiety we felt toward the purchase after having a very bad experience several years go with another company in Massachusetts. The system has been installed for about one week and we could not be more pleased.

We would highly recommend Mark Goldman at Epic Audio/Video if you are considering a sound system/home theater for your home.
