I ordered invitations for a birthday party. Was told to pick them up in the “afternoon” the next day. Tried to call them because I have an infant in tow. And anyone who has children knows what is involved just to leave the house. No one answered so the cashier took a message. Never got a call back. It was 2:30. Figured it was safe, but knew I was taking a gamble. Spoiler alert: they weren’t ready. Okay. Fine. I knew it was a 50/50 shot. I was told to go back after 3-3:30. Went back at 5. Was told they were STILL not ready, and would be ready after 7:30. Clearly frustrated I told the employee that I was told after 3:30… “Don’t know what to tell you. I’m just going by the queue.”
This is the last time I will ever have anything printed in this store.
I’m usually an understanding person. I help run a family business, and deal with disgruntled clients all the time. But this is not how business is conducted. If you give a timeframe to someone, you should abide by it. Or at least return a phone call and let them know you are running behind.

The employee who finally got my order seemed less then enthused to help me, opened my order to show me and said "....bunch these" in a tone that just felt belittling.. I guess. I told him it's super unclear where to go to pick up a canva order and suggested they make it more clear. He looked up at the "print and marketing" sign as if to say "it's already clear" again belittling. I am there to pick up a order not order print and marketing so why would that have been clear? He also was in the back, not at his register making it even more unclear where to go. He only came out after I asked a employee at a register where the heck I was supposed to go, and the employee called him out. Will never pick up a order from Staples again. How hard is it to put a "Pick up orders...
Read moreGo into the store on DW Highway today to get 3 things bound, literally take the guy behind the counter (the one with black hair) 5 minutes. He asked when do I need them buy? I said can I wait and he says no I have 7 large jobs in front of you... I said these are three books andkind of in a hurry because I have to get to the airport. I had a UPS package also and just spent $40.00 in printing. He says sorry can’t help with a snarky attitude. I take my stuff and go to the UPS Store on DW Highway and as I sit here and type this there are 8 people in the store and I got everything I needed done in less than 15 minutes! The UPS Store knows the definition of customer service and the Staples guy just cost his store about $20K a year in business because...
