We ordered dinner from their website On the evening of Friday November 2nd. This is the first time I've ever had pizzico and it's also the first time I've encountered a take out where I haven't received a slip to sign and include a tip for the driver. I called immediately and asked for them to try to a misc button on the computer so I could tip the driver as I did not have any cash. I realized after the driver left when my family and I sat down to eat that we were missing our caprese salad. I called again and was told I would need to wait for the driver to return to the restaurant and then come back to my house with the salad. The driver never showed. The next morning I realized the tip for the driver went through my account for a different amount. I immediately called the restaurant Saturday morning to discuss all of the issues with a manager. She offered to refund me all of my money from both transactions for the hassles but said that it could take up to 7-10 business days. I waited two full weeks. Nothing. I called on the morning of November 17th where I was told by a female manager that she needed to speak with Frank and call me back after he arrived in an hour or so. No call back. I called two hours later and was told she hadn't had a chance to speak with him and he was busy and would call me back later. No call. I still hadn't heard anything come Monday November 26 so I called again. This time I spoke with Raymond. I was told he would speak with Frank and call me back Tuesday morning. No call back. I called around 1pm before I returned to work and was told Raymond was busy. I called again after I got off work around 430 and finally spoke with Frank. Frank claimed to be unaware of anything and needed to look into it. While I understand this, my frustration for all of these issues and the fact that I would need to wait again was building. Instead of caring or trying to be understanding Frank became incredibly rude. By the end of the phone call I didn’t care about my money anymore. It was clear by the nasty behavior from the owner that he doesn't care of whether customers return or not. I couldn’t even answer the owners questions without being yelled over. The managers obviously don’t communicate and everyone has a different story. I was told by Raymond that the only female manager they had had been fired while frank says she's in another country. I'm beyond frustrated. I was actually crying at the end of the phone call because I’ve never had such a terrible experience or been treated so awful. It has been beyond awful. I said at this point I was going to contact the better business bureau and I plan to. I was hung up on. I have never written a negative review before. I have no words for this experience. I will never ever go there again and if they continue like this this business will not survive. If you're working in a customer service industry you should care about your customers. The amount of issues is just crazy! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not worth the trouble!
EDIT:: Frank, we both know I did not begin by yelling at you and we both know this. You accused me of being the problem and refused to try to fix anything, treated me like no customer should ever be treated, and I am in utter shock. I honestly hope that you learn from this and change your...
Read moreI VERY rarely offer a review and 9x out of 10 its a very negative one IF I feel I should!!! Well, on 9-7-2020 I was completely blown away, astounded, astonished and all those other fancy sounding words which are seldom used by most overworked folks of today’s run-run-run society!
My love and I had the incredible pleasure of dining in Pizzico... we were cordially greeted by the owner (little did we know), she sat us and brought bread and the norm!!! A dish with EVOO, salt and pepper... SCRATCH THAT‼️‼️‼️ She brought a dish with the most amazing and fresh bread crack dipping sauce and then went about her business.
After a couple of short minutes, Willie (our server) showed his face (with a mask unfortunately, due to current events!) and his gentle, professional yet super personal and passionate self began to erupt from within!!! Not kidding... I have never ever ever had such a pleasure of being greeted and served by ANYONE!
Fast forward to receiving food (which came relatively quickly), it was perfect!!! We ordered Fried Calamari which was tender and flavorful, Arancini which was done to perfection and the homemade sauce absolutely topped it (no pun intended). For our dishes, we ordered the personal size margarita pizza (Classic/original) which we got nervous was the wrong pizza until we bit into it and then OMGosh, it was freaking INCREDIBLY FRESH AND BOOMING with flavor! Finally, we ordered Apple Carbonara Pasta And it was out of this world!!!
For a restaurant in a strip mall, this place treated us like high class patrons but it wasn’t high class... we were in shorts and tee shirts with running shoes. Ultimately I told Willie how impressed and taken back I was in the best of ways... The owner showed up to talk and again I expressed my immense satisfaction and praise over the entire experience; she was overly grateful.
Again, I seldom write any review... this place was so perfect that we would’ve paid double!
Thank you guys!!! From the bottom of our hearts, you guys topped our already excellent day!
If we get to return to this area in our travels, WE WILL...
Read moreGave 2 stars, because the food is good and I had not had any issues in person before. I had gotten delivery several times in the past, typically with minor issues that I would not make a fuss over (missing sauces, wrong salad dressing, orders taking way longer than expected/promised, etc). However, I had an awful experience recently which the staff did little to fix. I ordered my birthday dinner around 6:30 pm, with a scheduled delivery time of 8:15. Ordered 2 entrees , 2 salads, and dessert. Food was delivered at 8:35 but an entire entree was missing from the order (literally my birthday dinner, the entire reason we made the order). When I called the restaurant, the host immediately asked "Were you the one with the veggie lasagna?" CLEARLY the staff knew they messed up before I called, and made no attempt to reach out and fix it. I was told I could get a refund on just that dish or they could start making a new one and pick it up myself. I asked if there was anything else they could do, as it was already now 20 minutes past when I was expecting to eat. (Was hoping for something small like covering the cost of dessert, refunding the delivery fee, gift card for later, whatever). The manager said the only way we could get any refund other than the COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN item would be if we drove to the restaurant and returned the food that had been delivered. Drove back there myself and returned each item. Honestly, if they had just called me to say they forgot to give the delivery driver the one entree, I would not have made any fuss and would have figured something else out with them. Lack of customer service is incredibly...
