The first time my fiancé and I visited this location we were skipped in line. He bought my engagement ring from Jared and we needed to get it resized. Took over an hour before we were helped, and what we needed took no more than 5mins.
We visited a 2nd time this past weekend. My fiancé and I decided that we would split the wedding costs 50/50. Because I am very particular about the wedding bands I want us to have, we agreed that I would be the one to pick out and purchase our bands. I bought his band from a different jeweler, but I wanted mine to be from Jared, since that’s where he got the engagement ring from.
We walked into the store Sunday afternoon. I took the lead with the woman assisting us and we began looking at rings. My fiancé never spoke to her. He sat quietly in the chair while I asked all the questions and tried on all the rings. Once I found the one I liked, I asked the women how much it was, and after telling me the price, she told us there were payment options as well as a 30 day money back guarantee if we change our mind about it. I asked her what kind of payment options there were, and immediately she began questioning my fiancé, and gathering his information. We were both confused why his information was needed, but assumed it had something to do with the engagement ring he bought previously. She asked for his SSN and his income information (I’m assuming to do some sort of credit check) and then after some time said there were no options and quickly ended the conversation. We both left feeling uneasy about the whole situation. I walked in the store prepared to purchase a ring that day without any sort of payment plan. This visit was going well until we started talking about the price. That’s when I was disregarded, and my fiancé began getting questioned. He was unaware a credit check was being done on him until he received a notification on his phone. As the buyer, I was very disappointed with the way I was treated, and decided not to purchase that day. I wish there was a different Jared near me that I could go to. I’d rather have my engagement ring and wedding band be from the same jeweler, but with both of my visits leaving a bad taste in my mouth, I may be better...
Read moreThe worst experience EVER!!!! I took a ring in to have it repaired. I have posted pics so you can see what type of ring it is and that it is not cheap. It is a one of a kind ring and made for someone and the entire design symbolized something of importance, within our relationship. Each set has five diamonds meaning 5 brothers & sisters 5 children we have together I could go into great detail about this ring as I did to the lady when I took it in for repair, but I wont. I will say that I had to have the ring resized and the band they put in was very thin and no where near the thickness of the original. I cold understand if I wanted it bigger but I went from a size 13 to a size 10 Also They decided to replace the broken diamonds with larger diamonds which made it have 1 less diamond in two different settings. When I questioned them about it they said it wasn't possible as if I didn't know the ring. The lady that I had told the story to acted like she was clueless about the history of the ring. Because this ring means so much to me I asked for the damaged diamonds and the gold that was removed but got neither. Now, here is the very sad part.... I put this ring in for repair as a surprise for my someone special, he never got to see the ring thank God it would have broken his heart just as it did mine, but they destroyed something very precious to me as the man I bough this ring for is now gone which makes this even harder to swallow, because this is something I can never replace. Not to mention over 700.00 for this they are expecting me to pay. Oh they offered to repair it but after everything they already did I was so afraid to trust them with it again. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU HEAR ABOUT THIS PLACE, who makes alterations to something like that with out customers approval? They have not heard the...
Read moreThis was the best experience I have ever had shopping for jewelry. After spending the afternoon at Opry Mills visiting the jewelry stores there and being highly disappointed by not only the selection but more importantly the employees, we decided to make one last stop at Jared.
Best idea ever. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a smile and wonderful service. Shatoria was the person who helped us for the most part and she was amazing. We told her what we were looking for and she had some things in mind. We basically found what we wanted in the first five minutes of being there but Shatoria took the time to show up whatever we wanted to see, even things we had been clear about not being able to afford. She was very friendly and very helpful. An added bonus was the turn around time to get a ring resized. Every store in the mall said two and a half weeks tentatively. Shatoria told us it would be about two and a half days with them, which was important because we needed it done by next Monday. I only ever want to buy jewelry from Shatoria from now on but at the least from someone at that particular store.
I could really go on and on about how great this place is but I'll leave it at that. I recommend at least checking this place out if you are looking to...
