Thai Phooket 2 is a delightful culinary gem that left me thoroughly satisfied. From the moment I indulged in the shrimp appetizer, I knew this dining experience was going to be exceptional. The chicken pad Thai, a personal benchmark for any Thai restaurant, surpassed expectations with its delectable flavors and perfect balance of ingredients. It's my go-to dish when exploring new Thai eateries, and Thai Phooket 2 nailed it. The culinary journey continued with the red curry featuring succulent beef, an exquisite blend of spices, and a generous serving of vibrant vegetables. The dish exhibited a harmonious fusion of flavors, providing just the right level of spice. The mango sticky rice, a sweet denouement to the savory feast, was a tantalizing treat that left my taste buds craving more. Beyond the culinary delights, the service at Thai Phooket 2 was commendable, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The prices are remarkably reasonable, offering excellent value for the quality of food served. Parking was convenient, and the bustling yet clean ambiance added to the overall positive impression. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend Thai Phooket 2 to fellow food enthusiasts seeking an authentic and satisfying Thai dining experience. This establishment excels not only in culinary expertise but also in providing a welcoming atmosphere and excellent value for your dining pleasure.

I was super excited to come here to eat dinner but they have missed many marks. We arrived before 7pm on a Friday evening and they didn’t have many customers yet. We sat down and had to wait awhile to get our menu, etc. we tried the pad kee mao, aka the drunken noodles, spring rolls, a bowl of Tom kha (generous portion), sizzling seafood. The description on the menu stated that the sizzling seafood was supposed to be served on a hot iron plate that’s why we ordered, but the server didn’t inform us that they don’t serve on a hot plate anymore until AFTER we got our food. I felt that this was false advertising. I wish the server told us when we ordered the dish because we would just order something else. We didn’t get our utensils, or napkins, so we had to go grab them ourselves from the front. All of the dishes were super sweet it was nothing like other thai food we’ve had (we have been to many thai places and also been to Thailand twice). The waiter told us that next time we could ask for less sauce maybe it won’t be as sweet. But I’m not sure if less sauce will solve the overly sweet taste. I’ll give them another chance but I’m not sure I’ll go out of my way again to come here.

Sad to see this restaurant that I love getting take-out from turn to the darkside and charge a 15% take-out "service fee". Piece of advice: Never do that. No one considers putting your merchandise in a bag a "service". With that logic, I need to bring tip money everywhere I go. Might as well start bringing a pocket full of 1's & 5's to be able to tip the fast-food worker, grocery bagger, bank clerk, and gas-station attendant for ringing up my energy drink and candy bar. Most people will gladly pay more for items if the quality is fantastic (like your establishment). And if I'm feeling generous at the counter and the customer service is excellent, I love tipping $5 on a $15 take-out order. However, when you give the customer no option in the matter, it turns around to bite you. Hope that you all decide to do the smart thing and just go up on prices if inflation is hitting you all hard, because your Drunken Noodles, Tom Yum soup, and Thai Tea are fantastic.

1 star redemption for good food. However, if I could give 0 stars for service, I would. I'll list the many ways they went wrong, see the attached receipt. 1. The menu price listed online is wrong. Online they were $8.95, and at the register it was $9.95. When I told him, he said oh. That's it. 2. They added a 15% service fee. What service you ask? Putting the food in a bag? Not sure myself. This service fee was not mentioned on the phone. When I asked about it, the cashier said, "oh, it's only like 3 dollars", trying to brush off the shock value of paying for a "service" I didn't receive. Also, the fee is charged on orders over $20 (up to the owner's discretion), which even with the price hike didn't come to. What's $9.95 + $9.95?? Not $20. So if the owner's discretion adds the fee.. The owner can remove it? 3. In addition to 1 &2, and probably the worst, the cashier's attitude about me questioning the price was disgusting. He wants to make it seem like this audacity and dishonesty won't drive away patrons. I can assure you I'm not alone in noticing the shady practices of this establishment. If you want to raise prices, do so, but nickel & diming customers will leave you counting just that....

This is a hole in the wall. Tables/chairs reminds me of a Chinese restaurant. It might have been a fast food place at one time. Not a place I would want to go on a first date, but definitely a great place if you are done trying to impress each other. I came for early dinner and they had a consistent flow of people coming in for early dinner. I would have love to try there lunch specials. Maybe next time. I ordered Tom Yum soup with chicken. It had a nice flavor, but missed the essentials. In this case lime, lemon grass and kaffir (lime leaves). The soup was also sweeter and it did not have the sweet & sour combination that is essential to Thai cooking. I added lime, better, but still missed the other flavors. This may be cooking from the central part of Thailand, but way sweeter. It might also be an off day for the cook. I also ordered the squid salad. Great mix of salad greens, not just iceberg. Squid was cooked perfectly, not over cooked. Again, it was very sweet. Good flavor, but too sweet. I loved there sticky rice with mango. The rice had slivers of coconut which is a nice touch. Sweetness was not an issue, lol. For Thai food, they are very reasonable, the icing...
