Music City Tree Service — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

These guys are a joke. My neighbor used this tree service and the team from the tree service cut a limb that landed on my privacy fence and outdoor party lights. The team tried to hide that the incident happened and didnt tell me or my neighbor until my boyfriend arrived to see the damage. I have cameras that monitored the tree service company so it was impossible for them to deny that they damaged my privacy fence that is only 2 years old. The guy gave my boyfriend his number once he was confronted and promised to repair the damages on my property ($200 worth of damage). The guy claimed it would be repaired in 2 weeks when the panel for the fence arrived...however after 1 1/2 months finally after many texts he had repaired PART of the fence without my knowledge. I had asked the guy to call me so I could be available to let him in my property to repair the damage properly and verify the damage was repaired (considering they tried to get away initially without reporting the repair to myself or the neighbor who hired their services). I decided to call the owner..who then turned out to be the guy I had been communicating with all along. The owner pretended he was unaware of the incident tho the number matched the cell phone number I had been texting all along. The owner promised to finish the remaining repair and reimbursement of the party lights...however the incident occurred in July. ..I have recieved no further contact or repairs on my fence. During the May 2020 derecho (straightline thunderstorm) a tree next to our house was uprooted and missed it by less than a foot. The hackberry trunk had a 3-foot diameter and a large branch (about 2-ft diameter) did nick our roof. The tree, at 60-70 feet, was almost as tall as our lot is wide and flat on its side, the branches were taller than the house. We needed the tree removed quickly to see the extent of the damage and, also, knew if we waited, the line for tree service would get long quickly. The next day, Monday, we got several companies to come out for a quick look and estimate. We chose MCTS because they had been recommended by a relative and they could take care of it that day. They were able to remove all but the main trunk Monday and had to quit early bec another storm was rolling in. The next day, with the help of a crane, the giant trunk was lifted away from the house. By the end of week, the largest of the trunk pieces were gone and the stump was ground down. Music City Tree was absolutely incredible! They came in, assessed the damage to a tree that I was very concerned with. The tree was a red oak, approx 150’ base to to top, that was leaning toward the power service lines and my neighbors property. The tree had very obvious core rot. Orlando Stricklen (owner) his crew and a contracted hazardous condition arborist coordinated with the local power service company to disconnect power and reconnect on completion of the job.

These men were professional beyond my expectations. This tree was hollow up to 65’. The crew took this beast down, did not damage any property, completely cleaned and removed all of the brush and logs. Kudos to Brandon, Jake, and the other men!
