I absolutely love this place! The food and the service are beyond amazing! They always get my order right. I'll be honest, I order complex and complicated menu items that are changed and modified for me and several coworkers, and it's always right. I know it sounds impossible, but it's not; they really set the bar high. Everyone who works there is very friendly and always goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you ordered and are happy. They are superfast around lunchtime, so it's perfect for me because I only get a 30-minute lunch. My food is always ready when I get there to pick it up, and it's always fresh and made correctly to order. The lunch prices are very affordable, with most plates under $10 for lunch. Don't be fooled by the great price though, these are good portions and its great quality. They have been in business for over 20 yrs and they have perfected their food! I found this place accidentally one day after driving around in the hot sun too long. I was feeling overheated, overstimulated and hungry and needed somewhere to go as fast as possible. As soon as I went inside, the atmosphere was so welcoming and calm. The music level was low, but loud enough to enjoy without being intrusive. The lighting was dim and soft and the temperature was pleasant and cool. I instantly felt relaxed and relieved. My server was attentive and sweet, taking care of all my requests and needs quickly and efficiently, always knowing when I was open to conversation or needed quiet. When I got my food, it was beautifully colorful and perfectly arranged. Every single bite was delicious. I've never been disappointed any time I've come. The ladies go out of their way to give you excellent service and make the whole dining experience wonderful from start to finish. It's a little treasure hidden in the city. Very, very sad Thai food experience. We were optimistic since they have high ratings, but were horribly misled. Pad Kee Mow ('Pasta' Kee Mow on menu) is listed as made with fettuccine (?! for white people?? idk), so we first had to specify we wanted made with rice noodles. As we are vegetarians, we were grateful when we were asked for dishes to be made without fish/oyster sauce. Horrible mistake! We were not told this would mean the food would be made with NO SAUCE whatsoever! Just rice noodles and vegetables with oil. Also asked for food to be 4/5 spicy and it was extremely mild given that there was NO SAUCE. Not a red pepper flake or chili in sight. Why offer us dishes without fish sauce if the kitchen will not make a vegetarian Pad Kee Mao sauce? The Lard Nar had essentially the same flavor as the Pad Kee Mao, despite traditionally being very different dishes. Honestly should have left when we saw fettuccine on a Thai restaurant menu.
